The irony is that those old big body Lexus have one of softest suspension ever made.
Jeremy Clarkson did the same thing in the c7 zr1 when it first came out. He tried sliding it for an entire lap and the whole lap was him saving tf out of every turn.
If you have a C7 ZR1, do yourself a favor and never try to slide it, and be hella careful around slippery surfaces. They HATE being sideways.

Back in the day I pulled up to my wife's families house and my hubcap popped off and started rolling down the hill, I got out and chased it down the hill. 😂
Was ridin my bike happily on a stretch of highway that doesn't have any dividers n all of a sudden I see this shiny thing on the road. What I didn't realise was that it was a stainless steel hubcap off of an older car barreling towards me. I swerved to avoid it but the damn thing hit a tiny pothole, changed direction, went airborne n hit me right in the chest. Straight up _Final Destination_ style. Luckily I was barely doin 60kph n the car that it came loose from was probably doin about 40kph so I didn't break any ribs even though I didn't have my ridin jacket on. Hurt like hell though! I'll never forget the sight of it coming at me like a ninja's Shuriken 🤣

6:37 That looks more like the skin of the hood separated from the structural support underneath it, being a fiberglass hood I wouldn't be surprised to see a hood split like that before the latch fails, but I can almost guarantee the front frame rails are tweaked to the left and this car is totaled
People do the same showoff stuff around my Miata because its got a few mods on it. I try to avoid eye contact as much as possible. Ive even had motorcycles pull up and ask me to race. Its a f*ing Miata. Some people just have fragile egos.
steel wheels are not hard. They're stamped steel 2 pieces welded together. Because they're not hard, they dont shatter like an alloy would, but the bend.
Nine hours? I painted the rally rims on my 1988 Silverado for myself a few years back. (I I later silve stripes on the edges to have them look like Oldsmobile wheels.) The truck was black and silver, he asked for black on the rim, so I just painted them without having to prep that tires for over spray. I put primer on them in just over two minutes, I let the primer dry and that took 45 minutes for all of them. (100 plus outside in July. It took the same amount of time to do the same thing with the paint. SIgned-Richard.

Those toyota hubcaps only pop off if you use the wrong size lug nuts, they are secured by the lug nuts. So if you use nuts that are smaller than the holes on the hubcaps....it will fly off on its own.

I’m not trying take up for nobody in this vid but steel rims are not as tough as you think there easy to bend hell running Chevy cavalier on oval dirt track with there stock steel rims they flex so much in turns a few race and the center will punch out of them then the part with tire attached to it is gone and center rim still be bolted to car it won’t happens so much on left side but right side they don’t last long and then cause you to wreck or flip only thing about dirt track you lose a right side tire your shit digs into dirt it’s over with 😂

If I had to wager a guess, some stancers pick what they pick mainly because they can't afford to (or can't justify) destroy a Supra, S14, and the like. They buy shitboxes to quite literally drive them into the ground. In that, I can actually respect it.
If the car was basic traffic and wasn't anything special to start, then it doesn't hurt as much to see it scraping its entire underbelly on the pavement. Don't get me wrong, I still cringe. Every. Time. However, it's not the cringe of horror one would find themselves doing in the event a real enthusiast's car was cambered out and grinding it's arse along the road like a dog with worms.
