- I am so proud of what we have achieved as a community over the last 7 years. I would have never thought that a silly 8th grader could get so much out of a mobile racing game, and yet here we are, about to start a brand new life. This is the End of the Beginning, and a celebration of our achievements. From discovering new Sector 8 tricks, to racing in the top echelon of player skill levels, this has been an incredible journey. YOU ARE ALL LEGENDS!
I want to give an extra special shoutout to the absolute legends of this game that got me through the good times, the hard times, the laughs, the competition, and the memories.

We sure will miss you in the Asphalt community. This made us realize that not everything can stay the same forever, and everyone will have to take their own paths in the dear future. You are one of the few TH-camrs that I look forward to almost all the time when I was a beginner. All I wanted to say is I wish you luck for your future endeavors with your new job and your upcoming decisions.

in no particular order: the G+/Hangouts days, your HuPangAponte group, improving frame-by-frame for S9 and Mastery challenges, farming credits, fangirling over Delorean/Driver R/Public Enemy/Welroy/OsO/Nguyen Ca/Alex, the excitement and hype for new updates, silly old community dramas, grinding TLEs for days to win cars, getting multiple of your own TLEs (shoutout 675LT Monaco-not Azure Coast!-gotta be my one of my favourite genders), doing detailed comparisons of [X] Class Kings (Hectorx!), the nitro management skill for them OPOP ST runs, keeping a cool route/trick to the clan/teammates only, gassing up friends when they uploaded a fire run or beat their PB/made a WR, the good old VS ghost races, laggy MP races with friends across continents and taking group selfies with epic decals in Tenerife etc, the amazing community-led two finger tapping revolution (when you got the touchscreen laptop, it was so cool!), those darned Windows hackers swarming the LBs, the flag-restricted TLEs, Houssem Majed the heartbeat of ReV chat, how GL spontaneously let us have CBT which was so cool, Tez getting his beloved Unboosted P1 RotD WR, AJ doing so much for the community and especially YT creators, Alex's meteoric rise to the top and decimating all the TLEs/WRs/Venice, and this is still such a short list of all the memories :)
lest I forget, my streamer ❤ "pay up boiiii" and the *dab* were iconic, you absolutely smashed it despite no solid streaming precedent in the A8 community 🐐

I remember watching your videos over and over to memorize all the shortcuts when I still played A8 as a 15 yo. I still watched your A9 streams even though I stopped playing the game 2 years ago, just because it was so fun to watch you play. You will always be that player I looked up to 5 years ago mate. This video was pleasant to my eyes, i watched a video of HawtDawg when i first started playing A8, in 2016. I was glad he did these videos, even though at the time wasn't speaking a Word of English! But i actually enjoyed these and felt thr same thing as many a8 "high-casual tier" players, the P2W system was on and i couldn't handle it tho. I lost my a8 account in 2018 and i didn't want to move on to asphalt 9, i didn't like the physics and blueprints system! But in august 2019 i was like "mm, i remember a8, what a good game.." i restarted an account from Dodge Dart, one month later i had 25 cars and all seasons at 95%+ (except the 9th lmao) and i was pretty happy of it
And then in the year of 2020 my progress was sooooo slow, that i slowly decided to quit asphalt, as you did(hawtdawg if ya read this)
So back in 2018, in the same time i played a8, i downloaded a game 3 days after it's release: "Off the Road" i kept playing it. Till this day where i am probably the best player of the game, and able to talk regularly to the developers, with a growing channel as well. I wish i could for OTR as much as you've done for Asphalt...
Well, I started Asphalt 8 in 2016 with my parents old iPad Mini gen 1. Then, I moved to Windows and continued further. I only started playing Asphalt 9 in late 2019 and without the wondeful Asphalt community, I would never have made top 1% laps. And you Hawt Dawg, were one of those who teached me to be a Legend. But now, I have resigned from all Asphalt games but I'll never forget this amazing community.
From 2015, watching feuerrmFilms to seeing you do that Sector 8 drift. You were the one that honestly made my childhood. I know that my account is 8 months old, but that's because I had an old account. Even that clip of you buying the Devel 16 made me cry. Sometimes, you have to lose a thing to get all the things. That thing for you is the Asphalt community. We'll miss you.

Man, I remember a few years ago I was talking about how Lays was owned by Pepsi on one of your streams. I will miss this Asphalt content, as it was always helpful to me during 4th grade grinding lol. I hate to say this but A9 is now better than A8. Don't get any wrong ideas, A9 is still a bad game, shame that it didn't live up with it's name which is Legend.
I remember playing a8 on my Samsung tablet 4 years ago then I played asphalt street storm for 3 years now and I quited a8 for 2 years then started playing the other asphalt series the I still remember my dad playing a9 on his huawai and I played a9 ten months this games are pretty fun to play and one day I will remember this games | | and Congrats Lucas

The End of an Amazing Era 🥲
It's been a while since I've seen your videos.
Back in 2019, I had to close down my old account due to TH-cam implementation of COPPA, but had to create a new one last year due to the pandemic. I had to reupload some of my videos that I posted from my now-deleted account, with fresh ones on other video game walkthrough such as, and I don't know if you're familiar with these games, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, Need For Madness, Gran Turismo (especially Gran Turismo 3, 4 and Sport), and Need For Speed...just to name a few. Although I haven't got much views on the videos of my fresh account, I'm sure there are some users out there who can still recognize me today.
For Asphalt, I still play from time to time, but their recent changes got me slacking off; especially within the work force. I slack off most of the time due to either enjoying other games or running my duties of everyday life. I have been cutting off my time with the Asphalt games, but eventually returning; and sooner or later, it will be my turn to end my Asphalt 8 and 9 journey...this time, in efforts to move on with my life in the real world, permanently.
Now that you're Asphalt journey is over, I wanted to say thank you for your efforts that makes you and the communities more welcoming, online and in the real world. Nobody will ever forget your moments in gaming, inside and outside the Asphalt games.
I wanted to wish you the very best for your future with your new career and any of your upcoming decisions.

There was a time when I don't have privilege to play asphalt 8 in good phone. I used to play in Samsung galaxy J2. Lots of lag but still love this game..watching you play makes more fun. Now, I have device but no time to play like before. SO, enjoy when you can racers.

I played asphalt 7 long long time ago I was like 4 or so years old, I love the asphalt games I still play them till this day. So I played since asphalt 7 was out and played asphalt 8 around 2015 or 2014 idk and still play asphalt 8 in 2021, now I've been playing asphalt 9 for a while, I love these games.
