Ceci est un jeu d'opposition entre ami, aucun ne cherche à gagner des points ou à assommer l'autre. L'accent est mis sur la propreté technique, le relâchement et les combinaisons.

[a cross to the jaw fractures the bone] Break cracked ribs, traumatize solar plexus, dislocate jaw entirely. [two more body blows, and a right hook to the jaw hinge] Heel kick to diaphragm ¦ [a heel kick to the opponent's chest sends him crashing out of the ring] In summary: ears ringing, jaw fractured, three ribs cracked, four broken, diaphragm hemorrhaging. Physical recovery: six weeks. Full psychological recovery: six months. Capacity to spit at back of head: neutralized.

Reminds me a lot of the boxing part of Kyokushin Karate. I'm always surprised by the similarities :)

If I'm not mistaken and this is only what I heard, the Japanese Karate styles founded in the last century from around the 1920s onwards were heavily influenced by western boxing styles and so different Karate systems adopted and adapted punching techniques from them.
