- In the last video, our excitement was ended prematurely by a failed electronic fuel pump. After some deliberation, it seemed best to resurrect the long abandoned mechanical fuel pump and put it back in service.

Electric fuel pumps are a simple fix but several times I've seen them over fuel and cause running issues and in one case wash the cylinders over time so the engine burned oil. Definitely a neat old truck, thanks for sharing with us.
I was thinking "that started way too easily" and then I remembered...this is Part 3. Making good progress, on to the carb!
Sounds strong. Can't wait to see it pull.
Man, you're giving me hope for my kb8f international!
KB's are super cool
Currently need to rebuild the fuel pump on my 73 Diamond reo but haven't found a kit yet. just make new tank straps. I had to make some for the Autocar and got T bolts from McMaster carr. i have it in one of my videos
BROCKWAY!!! Ive started on my Brockway, just need to put a video together for it. Maybe I'll see you in Cortland this year...
That lock washer will eventually loosen and bingo no fuel , you need to find a better solution. Looking forward to seeing you drive it.cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
It has LockTite on it. Cheers!
With the reciprocating action of the pump diaphragm, I'm not sure I'd trust a lock washer. It might be more secure to distort some of the threads for an interference fit.
It has LocTite on it as well.
Excellent. Thumbs up. Does the AC still blow cold...kidding. Nice work.
🤠
someone forgot to use the new artwork that I made for his channel.....
