In Kenya election is decided by 5 pillars:
1. Number of strongholds you have
2. Proximity to state power/incumbency
3. How many times you have vied for the position
4. Financial resource to launch campaign
5. Ability to gain Central and Rift Valley
As we speak Raila has the first 4 and currently seems to gain considerably on the 5th. If Ruto even garner 5 million votes in 2022 it will be declared a miracle of the century. Remember there are 22.2 million voters and 16.5 million will cast their votes. The rest as they say time will tell.
