I love how Mario fights evil to save the princess, link does same thing, ness fights aliens to save his planet, Samus does same thing but to save the universe, Kirby saves his land from cosmic entities, and then wario fights ancient nightmarish monster ghosts just for cash That’s a true hero to me
I remember playing this for the first time in Walmart back when they had the game boyadvance SP in front of the games and when I saw the design of spoiled rotten I knew I had to cop it. One of my fav handheld games of all time.
I honestly love some of the designs used for the bosses. It looks like something out of Ren and Stimpy, but it oozes that Wario charm that you would expect from a garlic munching, greedy jerk with a heart of gold!

My very first Wario game. It's funny. Up until I got a DS, Wario games were always my starter games. LOL I played the hell out of this game so that my D-pad stopped working. Also, I loved how all the boss doors were representations of their respective passages: Cractus had a wooden door for the Emerald Passage's nature theme, Cuckoo Condor had a rusted door for the Ruby Passage's machinery theme, Aerorodent had cushions (I guess) for Toy Passage's toys/fun theme, Cat Bat had the look of a mausoleum door for the Sapphire passages theme and Golden Diva's door was pure gold.

WARIO land 4 is one my favorite Wario super treasure hunting games, Iove the bosses, the ending is so cool, I love the part where Wario jumps into his car and heads out to eat some delicious steaks for only $10, hey after a long treasure hunt and fighting bosses, Wario needs a good meal after that😁👍
The bosses were the toughest part of this game to me because they go from easy to hard to make you want to throw the GBA across the room when they get down to the last few life ticks. Not to mention a time limit, the bear balloon thing and the damn firebombs was the worst
The title soundtrack litterally contains the word Motherfucker, 4 out of the 6 bosses look disturbing, the unlockable soundtracks ingame are weird collections of random noise and the game has an overall dark theme. Im not sure if it was a for kids to begin with

My parents didn’t let me get the bionacles gba game as a kid, they said it looked “too dark”. Instead they bought me this. So, many, nightmares. (I did end up getting the bionacles game too and loved it)
I hadn't thought about this game in years until I saw a clip on youtube... and now I'm distinctly remembering getting bodied by every one of these bosses, mostly due to running out of time/being garbage at throwing things... good times
Aerodent is harder than the Golden Diva. The boss for the easiest passage is the hardest, and the boss for the hardest passage is easier than Cractus and Spoiled Rotten combined.
This guy makes these bosses look sooooo easy to fight and they are but when I was a kid these bosses were so difficult I relied on my brother to help me fight them

Cractus is my favorite boss of all time. He’s a demented Venus flytrap that attacks by punching with his leaves. He’s like an evil Pokémon.
