Congratulations on the mini shiny snom! When I was a kid and I wanted a shiny Eevee in Pokémon shield, I gave up after about ten minutes because I didn’t realize how rare a shiny was at that point. About a year later, I was clearing out my boxes to prepare for the DLCs so I’d have room for all the new Pokémon when I found a few of the eggs from that shiny hunt I’d never hatched. So, I decided to hatch them and the third egg was a shiny Eevee! I was super exited because he was my first shiny and I decided to name him Sparkles after my friend’s cat. Can’t wait for the Pokémon home update so I can bring him to Paldea!

I have a jumbo marked shiny Squawkabilly that I caught a few weeks after the games released, and I didn’t even realise he was jumbo until months later when I checked all my shinies sizes in one go! I find it so funny that it was specifically that Squawkabilly, since when I caught him (before I even knew his size), I’d named him ‘Shpec’ after one of my birds- he’s a tiny little hand sized green cheek conure, a mostly green species of parrot. He seems entirely unaware of his small size, and acts like he’s the biggest bird in the house! His name is Spec (short for Spectrum)- though one of my other birds, an eclectus parrot (who’s currently my profile picture), calls him Shpec- hence the name of the Squawkabilly. So I was already extremely attached to this shiny Squawkabilly as you can imagine- and when I checked his size, I just couldn’t believe it!! Out of all my hundreds of shinies in this game, *this* one was a jumbo mark!! I couldn’t have asked for anything better!! I should also specify, I believe I found him in an outbreak, and I almost definitely would’ve been using some sort of sandwich at the time, though I wouldn’t have specifically gone for humungo power- it was way too long ago now for me to remember the specific boosts I had going, so sadly I have no idea what the odds were of me finding him- but I’m just so happy to have “Shpec The Great”!

congrats on the snom! as for shiny stories, I got a few! i was hunting for white tatsugiri a few weeks ago, I got the other two forms quickly but I wanted a whole set. I was like “it can’t be that bad getting the white one the other two weren’t so bad.” I ended up seeing a shiny of every dragon at the lake (except sliggoo and dreepy) + swablu before I found her. i also reset over 12 tatsugiris before I found her. This was a few weeks ago!
Oh hell yeah man, congratulations. I admire your persistence, cause uhh cannot say the same. So far I’ve gotten one jumbo shiny, and it wasn’t even my target really. At the time, I was so discouraged with size hunts. So many shinies that were so close, yet too far. So I decided to use my spicy herbs on an Impidimp outbreak to see what would happen, wasn’t expecting anything noteworthy at the time. Plus I wanted the shiny anyways. I ended up somehow not only getting the biggest shiny Impidimp, but it also had the uncommon mark. Which hey that’s neat on a size mon I’d say, despite being the most common mark. Now I got my boy Rooty the Great, and I adore him. Got a new love for Grimmsnarl now because of him

I was hunting Paldean Wooper and used a jumbo sandwich just so they’d be easier to see, and I didn’t know the one I caught was Jumbo until months later when I was checking all my mons for size marks! Cloddington the Great is one of my most prized mons.
My shiny story, basically: idk if I was lucky or not, but i got a double shiny bronzong that spawned at literally THE SAME TIME. But BOTH OF THEM HAD THE SAME MARK. The uncommon mark :( I was really disappointed
Congrats on the snom! As for a story to share, my story happened back in Pokemon Sun. I wanted to hunt a shiny paras. I got everything I needed together for SOS chaining. As soon as I stepped into the grass, there it was! Ok so I guess it was expecting me as I didn't have to do anything.
My rarest shines in every game is a full odds digersby in shield, a pawniard in Pokemon go, and a shiny alpha loppuny, remoraid, and a shiny alpha steelix in legends acreus, a full odds marked toedscool in scarlet
When I found my shiny Riolu it was female and I was devastated because I wanted a male, convinced Riolu was 100% male As soon as I found out that female Riolu is super rare I was over the moon Then I checked the size and it turned out to be jumbo Female shiny jumbo Riolu I'm too lazy to calculate the odds but it's certainly one I'm proud to have in my collection :] (Note: I did have humongo power, I always do humongo instead of encounter when I'm hunting in outbreaks just for the slim chance of a jumbo)

I actually just got my first mini marked shiny today! I was just doing a Ducklett outbreak, and while checking all of the Duckletts before doing the next picnic reset I saw a shiny Bellsprout. So I caught him. I just checked his size a little while ago, and lo and behold he's mini. I'm not sure of the odds there since I didn't have a teensy sandwich going, nor was he a part of an outbreak. I just had shiny charm odds going.

I keep getting a ‘powerhouse of a charmer’ which is the second to smallest one I think 😭😭 I’m 5 away from a box full of shiny Cetoddles (which I love them with all my heart but still XD). Maybe after watching this I’ll get some teensy luck 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾✨✨✨

I have a jumbo shiny of my favorite Pokemon, Raichu, though admittedly mine wasn't nearly that big of a hunt. She's from LA, and I did a MMO reset hunt for the alpha in the Crimson Mirelands. Since she's an alpha, that means she's automatically the largest size possible, so I made sure to give her the jumbo mark when I brought her into SV

I did a stream of hunting for a female shiny Fennikin (nearly 1500 eggs with shiny charm and Masuda breeding on the one phase alone), and during the stream I would get off of Miraidon and walk whenever the Furret walk song would play. We decided that since Sentret has been seen in the trailers already, that we would hunt for a shiny Furret once the DLC was out.

I was shiny hunting a hissuian zora in legends arceus for 3 days via massive mass outbreaks and I was able to get it after 10 massive mass outbreaks and nicknamed it mlem! Then I shiny hunted another one in violet and got it in under 10 eggs, and then I nicknamed it loaf and evolved it into zororark.
2 things, congrats on the snom and the Nintendo E shop says the teal mask DLC will release on December 31st 2023 and the indigo disk DLC will release around April 30th to may 30th.

hunting for a skiddo currently its been about 6 days, going full odds because i want to play through the game with the shiny skiddo so cant get any boosts except grass encounter sandwiches. So far i have found a buizel, mankey and magikarp while hunting skiddo. I appreciate the shinies but a little help with the skiddo from the shiny gods would be nice too.
With the release of Hisuian Zoura I desperately want the tiniest one possible. My very first shiny hisuian zoura in PLA has still been my smallest so far at 2 feet tall exactly, only 2 inches taller than the tiniest possible zoura in PLA. I want to hunt for the smallest possible in SV, but I worry that being stuck as a mesuda method shiny means it won't ever be possible to reduce the odds of hunting an XXXS one.

I found a shiny rare mark iron treads and I didn’t realize just got rare it was until recently

I was shiny hunting a hissuian zora in legends arceus for 3 days via massive mass outbreaks and I was able to get it after 10 massive mass outbreaks and nicknamed it mlem!
Then I shiny hunted another one in violet and got it in under 10 eggs, and then I nicknamed it loaf and evolved it into zororark.
omg the shock you must've had getting it in under 10 eggs after hunting it for so long in Legends. That's so cool though! Congrats on Mlem and Loaf!

2 things, congrats on the snom and the Nintendo E shop says the teal mask DLC will release on December 31st 2023 and the indigo disk DLC will release around April 30th to may 30th.

I just found out my typhlosion has a mini mark and to top that, it was the one from the raid den when it came out
so all the typholosions that people got all had the mini mark and I'm not sure why, but it is pretty cool that an event pokemon had it!

hunting for a skiddo currently its been about 6 days, going full odds because i want to play through the game with the shiny skiddo so cant get any boosts except grass encounter sandwiches. So far i have found a buizel, mankey and magikarp while hunting skiddo. I appreciate the shinies but a little help with the skiddo from the shiny gods would be nice too.

With the release of Hisuian Zoura I desperately want the tiniest one possible. My very first shiny hisuian zoura in PLA has still been my smallest so far at 2 feet tall exactly, only 2 inches taller than the tiniest possible zoura in PLA. I want to hunt for the smallest possible in SV, but I worry that being stuck as a mesuda method shiny means it won't ever be possible to reduce the odds of hunting an XXXS one.
Yeah you might be right about the masuda thing :/ maybe outbreaks will happen for it in the dlc!
