Me and my Wife while on a budget trip to USA spent 5 days in New York City spending Rs. 50,000 on all our combined expenses including food, accommodation, public transport for both of us together. Please note these expenses does not cover Flights, Visa & Attractions.
After reaching NYC, me and my Wife checked in to took a lovely AirBnb House and this video shows our full experience of how to book and stay in an Airbnb in New York City and also shows how we bought our own food and stayed in New Jersey to save a lot of money on our budget trip to New York.
For Attractions we used Go City Explorer 7 Pass option & visited Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Edge Observatory Deck, Hop On/Off Big Bus, Madame Tussauds, Circle Line Cruise Boat. I paid USD 180 for all 7 Attractions, If I buy all these Attractions separately, It would have costed me more than USD 300.
The Video also describes how to plan your United States of America Trip to cover 3 Most famous cities of USA and how to travel within different cities in USA on a budget trip and how to manage your expenses and save a lot of money by using kitchens in Airbnbs.
I took the Singapore Airline direct flight from Singapore to NewYork (Newark Liberty Airport) and return journey was from Los Angeles. The total journey time was around 19 Hours. We had a good sleep in Premium Economy Class of Singapore Airlines.

Visiting USA with wife was huge fun and also fine as per budget travel experience. USA is a very expensive country but if you spend wisely and make smart choices, you can save a lot of money. Like I chose to stay out of Manhattan which is the most expensive area and selected Jersey City for my Airbnb and also I shopped at the Indian grocery store and made our own food. We also used Public transport in New York to commute to New York’s famous tourist attractions.
It is one of the most expensive cities in the world so hotels in New York cities are too expensive and Airbnbs provide a better alternate living solution and they even work with families as you saw in this video.

Yes, under Newyork pass you can sit anywhere except one dedicated which is only for first class passengers. The dedicated area is inside but outdoor is for everyone.

Hotels are very expensive in New York, specially in Times Square area and room service is never great in NYC....There is no specific hotel, just look for great deal, will suggest to try AirBNB.....
Is premium seating allow with go city pass
Premium Seating is not allowed for Go City Pass......and premium seating is only under closed roof and majority of people sits in open roof where there is no premium seating option.....so in general not much difference in general v/s premium seating..

Yes, with Go City Pass, you can sit in outdoor seating, and I would also suggest to sit in outdoor to enjoy views.....make sure to reach early so that you can grab good seat.
