Perfect timing, I was just looking for a review for this camera
Thanks for watching!
Great informative review thanks- been looking forward to this one 👍🏽
Excellent review. Definitely the most bat proof camera type compared to other housing designs. The lens did move with each hit but that is expected. I had the same blurry footage problem with some of my 810a cameras after a few years of being outside in rain and snow The glass on the inside of the housing got foggy. cleaned it with a drop of dish soap and then with clean filtered water then wipe with a lint free cloth and its good as new.
Thanks for watching!
Hoping reolink send you a CX810 to review
Can you do one on the ring POE
Awesome video as always! I wonder if they will ever release PTZ dome cameras, they have the other PTZ cameras, but no dome as far as I know.
Can't wait for your next video, whatever that brings! ❤
will there be a chance you may review commercial systems like AXIS, Bosch, Pelco?
Thank you for another informative review. Bought the 840A for my front yard as I’d be installing them quite at a reachable distance. After seeing this, I’’ thinking of swapping both cameras to avoid having to clean the covers. How often is cleaning needed if I may ask? We don’t get snows. Thanks in advance!
8:43 for bat testing :)
Do you have all of the Blink cameras from six years ago?
thank you can you review a smart lock video doorbell the best plz.
Great review, a little concerned you would accidentally smash a window. I’m not a Reolink customer I decided to go with Eufy, Reolink doesn’t false advertise with these cameras. I think most people’s would install the cameras slightly higher out of reach. You gave them a good wack with that bat. As always looking forward to your next video.
Thanks for watching!
Do you think if this was mounted on the eaves, the issue with water/dust is far less than it is wall mounted? Also thinking of getting this over the eufy e330? Which would you recommend? Can you connect the e330 to your tv? Thanks in advance and great video btw, very informative😊
Great review. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Great review brother. Salamat.
Thanks for watching!
There is rich notifications with cloud service, which I was able to get for free for about a year and still getting it for free as of now, I'll let you know how much longer I can get it for free in addition to 24/7 recording to the SD card or NVR. probably better to go with turret style or pan type camera and just mount it higher so it's harder to reach due to shortcomings of having to constantly clean it.
With this model? Or probably their WiFi models.
@@LifeHackster with the doorbell which is both wifi and ethernet or POE.
What’s the best true 4k+ security camera system with best mp?
Can you review the tapo floodlight smartlight c720 please I need your review for I purchase
I have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
Is the RLC_1240A a better camera than this RLC-843A? They don't seem to sell the RLC-1240A here in Toronto
I’m not sure but the quality should be about the same. The 1240 has a wider FOV though.
I wish Reolink would shrink the size of their wired cameras, its huge.
Hi lifehackster. I'm gonna install outside cameras. Is Tapo 2K QHD C325WB2K 4MP Color Pro Night Vision Professional the best one to go ahead and purchase bro?
Yes, they are pretty good especially at night.
@LifeHackster thanks for the reply bro. And love the videos ✌️
Will you be reviewing the CX810 soon?
Whenever they start shipping it out..
You need a separate IR illuminator. I wish Reolink offered a POE illuminator.
Your neighbor is trying to smoke you out with that bbq 🤣
I know. It smells good in my backyard..
It should be a law that if your neighbour's bbq smoke hits you, you get free meat
Do you think they will make or can you suggest a vandal proof camera that has the color version and spotlight with 2 way talks? I prefer them over bullet cameras because they are less obvious
Did you watch the video by any chance? It looks like you didn’t. Watch it.
@@LifeHackster I did, I just like the colored night vision like the RX model. This doesn't have it
When I hit the gear icon for my camera, it just brings me to the main settings and i cannot access the camera settings. Is there any way to fix this?
LifeHackster was swinging that baseball bat during vandal proof testing *just a bit* too close to his home's windows!!! 😮
I know.. I actually hesitated for a bit there..
I love watching this guy, but I was a little late six hours after upload
Thanks for watching!
Why did it go out of focus when you hit it?
Probably because it’s a done camera so it’s grabbing focus on the dome.
It lost its focus because of the hit. It went back to focus though after a while.
Use shaving cream in and outside of those cameras cases stop them foging up
Thanks for the tip.
what happens if the vandal just spray paints the camera? I think it won't record any usable video
Great video but in the real world, no one is going to swing a bat at a camera so gently lol.
I hesitated because of my window…
🌹🌹🌹🌷🌷🌷
wall brackets should be released, at the same time as the camera. Another bad timing moment from Reolink.
why does the loading time to see camera view outside ?? It has problems loading WHY??
reolink has . A RED FLAG REOLINK CAMERAS or is bug related?
I didn’t see any issues loading the cameras in my case.
@@LifeHackster am talking about reolink Trac mix you should go back people sent questions to you 😔
Most crooks wear hoodies and something to cover their face. A bat is going to make noise and wake the neighbours. Maybe try some spray paint on the dome glass. That's if the crooks carry it lol. Would paint be easily removed and would that damage the dome. Cheers for ripper videos matey.
Spray paint can easily be removed by a paint remover. Thanks for watching!
@LifeHackster yeah, but would the gear used to remove the paint damage the cover?
@@Zendukai Nope. It shouldn’t be.
@@LifeHacksterdo they not have a hydrophobic / oleophobic costing to prevent the paint sticking so it just runs off?
I live in the country. No neighbors really near. My driveway is a 1/3 of a mile long. This would be excellent as most people don't carry paint but often carry something to smash things when doing burglaries
vandal proof in 2024 should mean resistable to wifi jammers...not a baseball bat.
Well, this is not a WiFi camera…so all along it has been jam proof…
