Awesome video. It took me 4 yrs fishing cobia to learn most of what he's given for free in this video. I especially liked when he said move on if a fish refuses to eat...we've hit 2 or 3 GIANTS that just refused everything we threw at her. I think I finally realized the bite shuts down during the spawn.
September is one of our best fishing months inshore, Bay, and offshore. I would recommend fishing the cbbt for spadefish because they put up a good fight and are delicious
This dude catches big cobia with his drag all the way tight? Somehow I doubt it. The line or hook will break, especially with no stretch in braid. Tight, yes. All the way tight? I think the hooks would straighten out. I've caught one on 6 lb test and plenty on 20 and 30 mono, no problem, with the regular drag setting of maybe 8 or 10 pounds of drag. His advice is awesome for grouper fishin', they gotta get jerked and horsed out of rocks.
This guy knows what he is talking about!

Which Teramar? The 8 foot XXH or XH? Plus what reel?
Assuming the eel rod is the 8 foot XH, not the XXH, correct? Also, what rod are you using for your bucktail rod?
What Rod and Reel combo are you using in this video.
Is that the 8ft XH Teramar?
What is your info to contact you for a trip?
