Great video. I’ve lived in central Mesa for 20 years and really love the changes. I do wish it wasn’t so focused on breweries and bars. I would love a proper sports bar and diner type establishment as well as an ice cream shop. My preferences. A spot you didn’t mention is Proof bakery that makes fresh made bread. They also make an incredible pizza where you can sit at the counter and eat some amazing pizza and watch them make the bread. Also check for outdoor festivals tons of food trucks. There’s also often food trucks across from the Mormon temple by the park on the weekend at dinner time.
DT Mesa looks lovely. Thanks. The trick with Mesa is that you have to pick the correct neighborhood that fits your housing preferences. It is a mixed bag. I love NE Mesa, problem is finding an affordable SFH there.
A year later, 2 of the chains didn't open, and pedal haus is still a month out. However: Phantom Fox is an awesome local addition with Goat & Ram inside. Jerrod's moved to new spot, not on main, but close by and still in downtown Salted knot is new Mad Candy is new Subway (one of the very few chains on main) is gone, and a new restaurant is going in. Alchemy 48 is a great speakeasy under Level 1 I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out, but I'd say a follow up video when pedal haus opens would be cool.
I once got arrested in Arizona. The judge said I could either serve 20 years in prison or spend 10 days in downtown Mesa… I only have 3 years left on my 20 year sentence 😕
Courtney, thanks again for another awesome video on Mesa. Take care and be well.
As always, appreciate the support David :)

Good times...
Don't miss nearby Blue Adobe Grille on Country Club. Absolutely spectacular New Mexican cuisine.

Wait, "GUS'S"??? Guess they went intentionally for bad grammar.
Downtown "Metha" from what the Law Enforcement community calls it....
