@@wlfie950 Hi, Damp hair is another way to use these rods but different hair textures respond differently and it may cause more frizz (especially when you’re using the air dry method) When I leave my hair damp with these I get much more frizz in my hair if I am allowing it to air dry Damp hair also is finicky because you have to make sure to put it in 90-95% dry or else it won’t dry properly. Hope it works well for you!

Hi, I know it says only water but I use a alcohol wipe after each use and then I just let it dry off. It seems like such a small amount to actually damage it. I haven’t had any issues so far. 😊

Hi I also received the target box as well! I did Target, Walmart, babylist, Amazon, and a paid one I cannot remember at the moment. This was a great way to try all different things for my baby and have extra things for travel or when I was admitted to the hospital. (Just in case you do not want to use hospital items (diapers, wipes, shampoo etc)

Hi this is at your own discretion to use on your face. I would follow what you think is best or consult with Braun directly. I personally use it with goggles now which I did not have on in this video.

Glad it’s working out for you so far! I also used it on my face and I would wear hats and apply physical broad spectrum sunscreens that protect against UVA/UVB Oh and make sure to grab some goggles to protect your eyes while using the machine!

Hi! Yes that’s another way and the curls turn out different than when you wrap them this way. This style gives you more of a ringlet curl/wavier style and more uniform curls as well 😊

I bought them, but they are only for people with extra long&thick hair.. they simply roll out of my hair, I use clips and bows, nothing makes them stay in place :( Styling creme I bought as well, it is really good, thanks for that recommendation!

Hi! Braun on the instructions does not recommend goggles specifically. I use LED therapy by celluma, a UV gel nail light and the Braun in my routine and I purchase these ones for eye protection. Personally I would rather just be safe but yes the brand itself doesn’t actually recommend or require any. Hi 👋🏼 Yes, I have tried this with very likely damp pair is 90% dry. It produces a fuller effect but with more frizz I have noticed better results on dry hair using a serum such as Ola Plex nine or any other serum/cream. I have been using heatless hair methods sense 2009 so it has allowed me to play with different tricks and methods. Hope this helps 😊

@@tiffxxsdwhat does the serum help with? My hair doesn’t hold a curl well with heated wands. Do you recommend I use a mousse before putting in the satin rods??

@@TLKK2020 hi so the olaplex serum or any “hold” cream helps make your hair a little wet but adds moisture to reduce frizz and dryness. If your hair does not hold a curl well I would recommend either using a curl cream to get it barelyyy damp or a mousse like you said. Hope this helps 😊

Hi it’s just the way the light is reflecting on camera, it mostly pulses like a white light, but if the side area is red then yes it won’t flash because it’s not close enough/covered by the skin.

Unfortunately they’re not soft and squishy 😢 they are exactly as described on the site “satin wrapped flexi rods” not sure if you’re familiar with how the original rods feel like!

This mask is still a part of my routine but I do use a portable LED mask as well that has been discontinued but has the same specs and I definitely think it makes a difference overtime with consistent use!

So the light has been working for me with keeping my inflammation down and improving brightness but it’s not a DRAMATIC difference.

Works well, overall inflammation reduction and helps with brightness/dullness but it’s not DRAMATIC

I wash my face, put toner and any hydrating serum (hyaluronic acid) 😊 I also use a sheet mask before the light as well. I also use eye masks during as well

@@jeffzheng3136 I think so? I use a LED light at my facial place after extractions, microderm and chemical peel and it just helps with inflammation and bacteria. I would definitely test it out on your skin first though (like an arm patch test). Lights will sometimes dry certain skin types out so the BHA may not be best but it depends on your skin.
