V-Raptor is an underrated support imo. Yes, it won’t do much damage and it doesn’t really buff the AZ, but poison is consistent to make it a pest.

Using both O-Raptor and Breme in pair with either V-Ripper or U-Raptor is stupid fun. The FP stealing allows you to essentially cheese the enemy into not attacking. Also Cryo actually has team skill pairing with the Raptors, so that could be something to experiment with

Man I should did up my fossil fighters, i had a team with dimetro and fish(coel i think) plus whatever could give fp gain an give the team attack move for dimetro. Strat was to boost dimetro with his attack buff plus an attack buff from the fish and then dimetro team attack would team wipe anyone i faced for the most part.

Is there any sort of bonus to having more than one type of Vivosaur on a team?

Yes, they all don't share the same type of weakness (air,earth,water,fire) making the team a bit more difficult to break.. you are better off getting 3 of the same species of vivosaur rather than the same identical mono element

Champions is definitely worth it. Has a lot more vivosaurs, the battle system was upgraded, the only real downside: Some fossils are hidden behind DLC that you cannot get now unless you are willing to mess with your system to get them. Also before one continues the story, try to get as many fossils as possible within the underground portion. You’ll know right away what I mean by this.
