Japan is such an amazing country. I’ve been there a few times but cherry blossoms are truly beautiful , I mostly experienced them in South Korea. And it’s crazy how they pop. But for such a limited time . Glad you got to see it in Japan

sorry Kev wrong about the Sakura, the weeping is just a different cultivar of Sakura. The most common is the yoshino (white) but its not the only one. The white also has pink flowers on it, but its usually the young flowers. There are white weeping, and pink non-weeping and they are still Sakura, however depending on the cultivar they bloom at different times. There is also a very early blooming cultivar called the Kawazu Sakura
