I really wanted to catch a nice sized bluefish on my fly rod since I haven't gotten one yet and the spring was drawing to a close. I decided to go to Sandy Hook point and try to get one there since the weather was good and there were reports of bluefish all over the place. I started out with a frustrating few hours as bunker were flipping everywhere and people next to me were catching them on jigs, but I finally got one!

Water Temperature: About 62 degrees
Depth: Ledge dropping from 5-7 feet to 20 feet
