Stunning video. It's great to see 4876's "then and now" shots. Nice to see her finally go to her new home.

In the future I hope to oneday return to Ferrymead but since I trainspot and I need more sleep on Saturdays and I have to reapply membership it's a matter of what will happen yet determination.
Anyways on a running day I will visit the new locomotive to take some pictures and a few vid shots for my channel if all goes well as long as Joshua Smithies and Megatronaception are with me to do it but it should be in weeks or so time.
Anyways great footage I hope it possible or presumbly goes into NZ Railscene series like always I wish some of my footage could but anyways mostly these days NZ Railscene footage has to be still footage half the time my footage can be shaky but I do try to keep it still,
In the near future if I can afford a tripod for my Android Galaxy A52 hopefully and the right weather gear for the heavy rail seasons like my misfortune happened in the North Island.
Very good footage of getting 4876 on delivery trip.

Just wondering if someone could tell me what the hose/cable is on the side of the Loco is?

The loco cannot have air put through it, possibly because air brake parts are missing or not working. The hose is a temporary train pipe, which gets air to the rest of the train train to operate the brakes. This is common practice to get air to the train when a vehicle has defective or non operating brakes.
