The only reason I visit Amsterdam (now the tourist bits were visited on the first trip) is to tram ride and a few hours train spotting at Centraal Station! Including the famous time I forgot to get off the tram at the terminus (matterhorn) and ended up in the loop during a crew break (Osdorp De Aker) 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah at that point the traffic controllers didn't communicate with me. I expected that they would prioritize the tram over other traffic. That's how the traffic lights are normally managed. Instead they made the tram waiting extra time. The trams get washed (from the outside) but not on daily basis. It happens when we go back to the depot at the end of the day of the vehicle.
Bij het Amstelstation is er niets aan de hand. Het gaat om de Berlagebrug waaraan momenteel wordt gewerkt. Wanneer de heropening is voor de tram is nog niet bekend. De bedoeling was deze zomer.
