Lacul CINCIS--Pensiunea BELVEDERE

Lacul Cinciş a fost creat la începutul anilor 1960, pe vatra a cinci cătune de pe Valea Cernei, pentru a satisface nevoia industrială de apă a combinatului siderurgic din Hunedoara. Satele au fost inundate, iar localnicii au fost nevoiţi să se mute. Se spune că asupra lacului au fost aruncate blesteme, că este bântuit, iar trupurile celor care se îneacă aici nu au mai fost scoase la suprafață.
În urmă cu jumătate de secol, cinci sate şi cătune aflate la zece kilometri de Hunedoara, în care locuiau peste 500 de oameni, au fost strămutate pe un deal, unde a fost construit actualul sat Cinciş. Valea în care se aflau vechile aşezări Cinciş-Cerna, Valea Ploştii, Baia lui Crai, Moara Ungurului şi Ciuleni a fost inundată pentru a fi creat Lacul Cinciş, cu o capacitate de aproape 30 de milioane de metri cubi de apă, ce urma să devină principala sursă de apă a Hunedoarei şi a combinatului siderurgic din municipiu. Astfel a început povestea Lacului Cinciş, iar în jurul apei care a înghiţit vetrele aşezărilor străvechi, şi a dus la devastarea bisericilor şi a cimitirelor lor, au fost născocite poveşti înfiorătoare.

Lake Cinciş was created in the early 1960s, on the hearth of five hamlets in the Cerna Valley, to meet the industrial water needs of the steel plant in Hunedoara. The villages were flooded and the locals were forced to move. It is said that curses were thrown on the lake, that it is haunted, and the bodies of those who drown here have not been brought to the surface.
Half a century ago, five villages and hamlets ten kilometers from Hunedoara, where more than 500 people lived, were relocated to a hill, where the current village of Cinciş was built. The valley where the old settlements of Cinciş-Cerna, Valea Ploştii, Baia lui Crai, Moara Ungurului and Ciuleni were located was flooded to create Lake Cinciş, with a capacity of almost 30 million cubic meters of water, which was to become the main source of water of Hunedoara and the steel plant in the municipality. Thus began the story of Lake Cinciş, and around the water that swallowed the hearths of ancient settlements, and led to the devastation of their churches and cemeteries, horrible stories were invented.
