Hi and thanks for watching! Are you considering a move to Panama? If so, when? Please feel free to send me an email sometime at chosenfewexpats@gmail.com
LOL! Laughing that you know about 90 day Fiancé and 90 Day The Other Way. Your wife and will have to watch tv together! Thank you for the mention of call centers in Panama I'll have to research that further. You are teaching me alot. Thank you!
@@ChosenFewExpats , Hi Alonzo. it's good to hear from you. And it's good to see you back on TH-cam. I hope that all has been well! My fiance (soon to be husband) and I were in Panama December 201 for a scouting trip. We liked Panama, but not enough to make it our "move abroad" spot. Now I'm researching Lisbon. We are getting married in June (In Puerto Vallarta) and then we will honeymoon in Lisbon. Fingers crossed that we like Lisbon. Buti f not, I'll start researching another country. It's a big world! Thank you again for the outreach and this informative video. I laughed at the reference to 90 Day Fiance TOW. Alot of the couples on this season get on my nerves - especially Danielle and Yohan. Somebody needs to have a chat with her about how she talks to a grown ass black man. All the best to you and your wife. Keep up the good work!
Hi and thanks for watching. We covered all available types of work permits in this video. If your from Italy, you can work and stay in Panama for a period of time. Under the new Friendly Nations Visasince this video was made, you can come to Panama if you have an offer from a Panamanian company.
Keep these videos coming! I just learned about the highly skilled worker permit. When did that come out? Oh, congrats on hitting 1000 subs!!!! Wooo hooo! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Aisha! Thanks so much for your continued support!! I hadn't heard of it either until I investigated these work permits heavily. Yes, 1000 subs is a big milestone. Our channel appears to be growing quickly. Just have to find the time to keep doing these videos because it is very time consuming.
@@ChosenFewExpats I have to research this permit further. It can be a game changer. As for your channel, I think I speak for many when I say that your hard work is appreciated. I did not realize how much work one video entails until I decided to start a channel. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you guys.
Hi and thanks for watching. I never said the Friendly Nations came with work permit. At the time this video was filmed, you could apply for it. Requirements have since changed. You can still apply but it's more complicated.

Hi Essy. Yes, there are plenty of what many call unskilled jobs in Panama. Lots of people have jobs as housekeepers, in lawn care, car washes and all kinds of things. However, you still need a work permit to work legally in Panama and... the salary for these jobs would be very, very low.

Thanks as always for another great video, very informative. I recently read in one of the blogs I follow concerning Panama, that there are rumors that the government is considering changing the Friendly Nations Visa from $5000 to $250,000. Have you heard anything similar to this?
Thanks for your continued support. The details are unclear but there are rumors of changes I heard to a property investment of $100k - $200k instead of a Panama corporation and $5000 deposit. For now, there are no official changes.
Thanks for sharing this with me this video but I was wondering if I can get a job working as I do now as a security officer I'm a professional protection officer at work right now and I like to know more about this type of job in Panama ?
Hi Anthony. Panama has a list of jobs that are restricted to foreigners. Please check out our "Can I Get a Job in Panama?" video. I don't believe a security officer is on the list. However, there are a couple of issues. You need a work permit, would probably need permanent residency (but can stay for 6 months at a time if a U.S. citizen) and companies are restricted to hiring 10% foreigners. Unless you're fluent in Spanish, it will be even more difficult to get a job. We recommend starting an eCommerce or online business or finding a job you can work remotely. Even if you managed to get a security job here, the pay would be really low compared to what you're used to. Please check out the video ---> th-cam.com/video/IT3hHvLkt0Q/w-d-xo.html
Hi buddy ! I am a dual national , Italian by birth and education and American by adoption . I have been living and working in the good ol' U.S.of A. since 1998 as a full-time professional musician ( I teach drums in several schools and perform in different bands in South Florida and out of state as well ). Given the current social and political situation here in AMerica I am considering more and more to GTFO , sell my house and relocate to Panama. I am not old enough to get my social security monthly check yet and I need to keep working a few more years before getting it . Would you suggest me to use my AMerican passport or the Italian one in order to get the Friendly NAtion Visa and to open a corporation ? I am also planning to resume my musical activity once relocated both as a music teacher and a s a performer. P.S. I am fluent in Spanish . Thanks in advance for your advise !
Hello sir and thanks so much for watching. . Our channel has mostly been focused on people from the U.S., Canada, Europe and other nations on Panama's list of "friendly nations". I'm not familiar with many details concerning other nations. Here though is the information I found on Pakistan. visalist.io/panama/visa-requirements/pakistan
Hello. Kenya is not on the list of Friendly Nations to be eligible for that visa. You would need to find a way to obtain permanent residency in order to get a work permit or leave every 90 days.
$1200 per month what they pay on average in Panama is a joke. You'll spend it on rent. It's hot in Panama you allway need to run air conditioning, electricity is expensive here compare $.11kwh Florida $.18kwh Panama. You go to a supermarket many things are twice the price then in US. Example: Shower gel, shaving cream most personal hygiene products. I've been to Panama millions of times and I'm not impressed at all. If you have the money to start a prosperous buisness that will run successfully,. Yeah you can live a good life anywhere.
Hi and thanks for watching. Yes, some imported items are high as we also noted. There are many less expensive places to live but there are still a ton of items you pay a lot less for in Panama than in the U.S.
Wow, this is exactly the info I needed😮❤

The "Friendly Nations Visa" does not come with a work permit. You need to apply for it separately Also the requirements for this visa have changed

Pls sir, state how much all the visa fee is cost.
It depends on which visa you are trying to get. The Friendly Nations Visa is about $5k and the Pensionado Visa should be a little over $3k.
