Another great cutter
I want to know how to cut boxes for my products. Any suggestions?
If it were me, I would test quite a lot with settings and blades, and write down what's working out. We have a few blades on site, but you may not need them if you can get your machine dialed in perfectly.
Many people use cutters of various brands for scrapbooking, and cutting cardstock, so thicker materials is possible. If they're really thick, be sure to try double cutting as well if the blade isn't going through the first round.

@@MattVassallo have you tried Laser Cut.
I love my gs 24 but recently my laser stop working and I can't print and cut..any suggestions about this?? TIA
I would contact the manufacturer.
Making changes yourself aside from using canned air to gently clean the laser eye could void your warranty.

I have a roland gs24, and im using a new blade, yet when i cut small letters they come out all wonky. Am I using too little or too much force, is the blade faulty, or is there another issue?

With a mat? Certainly. Just be sure your grid on screen matches the grids you're covering with vinyl on your mat.

Which machine out of the Graphtec 24 inch, 7000 model vs the Roland GS 24 model camm1 has more advantages as in also able to cut tint patterns, auto upholstery seat patterns, etc?
Hi Matt, Brandon here. I use to use the GCC Jaguar signpal 4 to cut my sandblast stencil vinyl on it with no issue it is 350micron, the machine had a power surge and will now be replaced by a Roland GS24 what will the settings be to cut the same micron on the GS24? Without overcut.
I have Roland G24 and new to vinyl cutting. Where do I get VINYL OVERCUT in the cut studio software that comes with cutter.
Vinyl overcut is what we use in the TRW Design Wizard (paired with Corel Draw) software that we use, sell, and design with. We have thousands of designs and fonts on site that are already overcut though :-)

What brand or laptop did you use to work with the Roland GS-24.? I am looking into buying an affordable laptop just for my Roland and I want to make sure I do everything right. Thx
Go with your budget and look at the system requirements needed to run your software, and go from there :-) We have a variety as well as a desktop that we work from. -TRW Crystal
Hey Matt how would you recommend doing this small of a font on the graphtec?
I'm having a hard time comparing the Roland GS-24 and the Graphtec CE7000-60. I'll be starting a business and want to know if both will do exactly the same. I have seen videos where the Roland can cut thicker materials like cardboards and magnets. Anyhow; can you provide the difference between these two?
What did you end up going with? I am in the same predicament.
