Great video! Plastic foundation always needs wax, even if they say they're pre-waxed, you still have to add more. Keep in mind the bees drawl comb the most/fastest in the spring and feeding the bees can encourage comb building as well. Beekeeping is rewarding and frustrating at the same time. I was a nervous wreck my 1st year, second guessed everything. You're doing great!
I'm always second guessing myself too! Definitely learning a lot though. I need to feed these bees before winter comes and they don't have enough to eat.
I've been following your channel recently and absolutely love your content on beekeeping and rural life. @@jeanbertrand1364 Yeah I definitely need to feed them more 😬 I've started waxing all my (pre-waxed) frames now. I think it's getting better, time will tell. Thanks for watching!

Thats not wonky comb, its queens they were trying to raise
Oooo I hope not! This queen has been doing ok after I replaced the missing queen.
They dont like the plastic frames, cover them with extra bees wax
Yeah I learned the hard way. I put extra wax on during this video. I cut out the footage of me doing it on all brood frames.
