No pole car in PA huh? I think if you were 1” taller it’s required. If I remeber correctly. I definitely remeber letting some air out of tires on some loads to avoid getting a pole. Ahhhh the good ole days!! Love the vids!
The scenic shots out over the valley around 20-30 mins in reminds me of an overnight trip in a large straight truck from mid MI to eastern PA in the mid 90s. I woke up in the morning with my head glued to the passenger window and absolutely nothing visible but the tops of large trees below my window. No shoulder, no rail. Was a beautiful scene otherwise, but I was ... distracted.
Thank you so much Doug for the captions 😀 Wow that length 😮the longest load I ever pulled was moving portable asphalt plant the highway heater tank was 98’ overall of course this was with a 1968 Western Star with no power steering no ac 318 Detroit 15 speed wasn’t heavy gross was 82,000 if I remember correctly 😁
I used to do high load escorts as a telephone engineer: Taking down wires lower than the load and putting them back up, running with Police escorts, mainly at night. Retired 6 months now.
It took me a hot minute to figure out why they had you take the right on 158 and go through guilderland center. CSX has a rail crossing about 1.5 miles from the intersection of RT 20 and 158. Those roundabouts at fuller and washington ave look like a real pain for oversize loads. Back in the day before the roundabouts youd take a left and then a right to get on 90 to 87. I used to watch them bring the large windmill blades down the same route you took. Good video, good driving.
Yup to avoid the train bridge on 20 exactly! The round abouts have been there since I’ve started doing that route at least 10 years now. Your age is showing 😝. Just teasing!
You went by house and never saw ya. I live in WV about a mile off I-81 and run maryland alot and look for ya but never see ya. I guess I am always wrong place, wrong time. Love the videos
Well Sir, I have seen some heavy haulage rigs here in Australia, and can appreciate e erything involved to transport a heavy wide load. Thank you 😊
Yes yes the Great Lakes Communist State of Michigan salutes all the socialist from Canada to China !
Thank you 🙏 for driving ☝️skill long distances and great 👍 view on way 👏👏👏👋☮️
I used to do high load escorts as a telephone engineer: Taking down wires lower than the load and putting them back up, running with Police escorts, mainly at night. Retired 6 months now.
That’s kool. I’m sure you’ve seen some interesting loads!
That’s a hard pull up that mountain! I seen that view many times, my son and his family live in North Myrtle Beach.
Aussie flatbedder for life!!! Waiting for your next video mate !!!??? Keep on trucking ☝️👍
Thank you 😊
It took me a hot minute to figure out why they had you take the right on 158 and go through guilderland center.
Excellent video good camera angles and narration. 👏👏👏
Thank you 😊
Awesome video, another one for Guay crane , my favorite crane company. Keep those videos coming 👍👍great one . I miss trucking
Ca prend vraiment un certain type de personne pour faire cette job là. Grand respect!
Merci ☺️
I rfeel a great accomplishment when you finally deliver your load and off load it.
Yup it felt good to get off the road! 😮💨
When every twists and turns of the road become a challenge.
Good job les Boys
You went by house and never saw ya. I live in WV about a mile off I-81 and run maryland alot and look for ya but never see ya. I guess I am always wrong place, wrong time. Love the videos

Enjoyed the ride ! Thanks for the right seat.
Well Sir, I have seen some heavy haulage rigs here in Australia, and can appreciate e erything involved to transport a heavy wide load. Watching you with this long, heavy, and low load, I can tell you are a skilled operator. I loved watching you negotiate all your obstacles with precision. Kudos to you. Keep the Shiney Side Up mate. Your channel has an intriguing name. Why the name with "Banana" Heavy Haulage, Do you haul huge bananas? Down Under here in Aus we have tourist attractions like The Big Banana at Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, The Big Pineapple at Woombye in Queensland, and many others around our country. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers from South Australia 🇦🇺
The name is actually a fisherman joke. Old superstitious fisherman will tell you bananas are unlucky! Therefor “Lucky Banana”
Howdy, monsieur Doug 🖖Excellent comme toujours! 👋👋 Grand merci !! Continuez, s'il vous plait! 👍👍👍
Merci ☺️
