This lineup makes me really appreciate how big is the scale of the world Oda made. So many amazing diverse characters, most with interesting backstories, unique traits and motivations.

It’s hard to remember that Luffy is consistently fighting characters that are over 15 feet tall. With his devil fruit, his ability to grow makes us lose track of how absolutely massive some of the characters are.
the problem is that the anime really fail when it comes to showing the real sizes, 1 episode luffy is at kaido´s waist, then the next one he is at his nees. same issue with a lot of characters.

Its not supposed to be. You make characters bigger to make them appear stronger/scarier. They arent supposed to be the same size all the time, they arent in the manga either.

I don’t think people realize you can’t actually scale most one piece characters lol. Oda made an artistic decision to purposefully make characters even larger than they actually are at times to show the gravity of the situation, how powerful they are, ect. Like whiteboard or kaido are obviously huge but there are times oda draws them seemingly as large as a giant to up the drama. Prime example when big mom and kaido were standing over Luffy as he walked toward them. Characters like oden aren’t actually 13 feet tall

@@Patrick-nq9ij nah if you’re up to date with the anime you can even see in the most recent episode, when they scale kaido properly and don’t make him even larger than he already is for dramatic effect, kaido looks to be more around 13-15 feet tall. Oden would then just be a very tall (7-8ft) man, which makes more sense anyway. They don’t just do this with kaido, but with a lot of characters. When luffy walked toward kaido and big mom they were like 30 feet tall lol but then you see his actual height

Oda is an idiot , he dsnt think when he do things , you will see luffy thrwoing water on croco and hurt him but when luffy throw ice at akainu it didnt affect akainu at all , many chars who got shot ,slashed into pieces but they still able to walk , laugh and fight , that eneru shoting 100M volt at luffy was total bullshit , he think that elctricity is just elctricity , just 1M volt will destroy a rock into pieces and rock dsnt conduct electric either , luffy who is still alive after using mutliple gear 2 and using ivankov pheromone multiple times , its just nosense over nosense

If Luffy was standing on Usopps shoulders, then he would be the average size of a One Piece man.
But now that we know his true devil fruit, he can be whatever size he wants whenever he wants without even draining energy or nothing. Because he's been rubber the whole time throughout the series, but he isn't even made of rubber. He can be anything he thinks of.

So when Katakuri fought Luffy, he was fighting someone who was only as tall as his knees. Wow. I hope we would be able to see these heights in the live action show, though Arlong looked a bit small in the 2nd trailer.

what amazes me about this is, is the actual character variation, so many characters! just think about how many characters are there in one piece that are unique, Oda's imagination is pretty wild.
Those "Sea Behemoths" at the end are not sea behemoths. They are the Skypedia people and it's their shadows. That last being though might be a valid one though.
it is amazing that you can recognize almost every character in this video, considering the difficulty to creat so many different designs.

You know onigashima is not 900m. That makes no sense. Kiado's dragon form at full length is about 1km. His dragon form is huge. Onigashima is a huge island with super structures. Don't you remember the scene with the sunny next to the fox statues? Those statues are about 300m compared to the sunny. You can't even see those statues from a distance. Onigashima is a huge island.

Edit: Also, Wow! if the Sea kings are really 5000 meters long, standing vertically, it's head would be poking out of the water, while it's tail would be all the way down in the abyssopelagic zone! two sea kings end-to-end would almost be enough to go from the surface to the bottom of the Mariana Trench! Thats Insanely huge! Not to mention Zunesha, who would still be above the water, standing in the deepest ocean if it was 3x as deep!

in fact, in the anime and in the manga there is no problem with the height difference.
in the anime Luffy vs Katakuri looks only 1.5x different in height, but in the data it can be up to 3x different. it really doesn't make sense. even though in battle it's not that different.
the strangest difference is ENEL, I didn't know that he would be that tall. even though in ANIME you can't see typing side by side with Luffy.
