It’s hard to remember that Luffy is consistently fighting characters that are over 15 feet tall. With his devil fruit, his ability to grow makes us lose track of how absolutely massive some of the characters are.

I don’t think people realize you can’t actually scale most one piece characters lol. Oda made an artistic decision to purposefully make characters even larger than they actually are at times to show the gravity of the situation, how powerful they are, ect. Like whiteboard or kaido are obviously huge but there are times oda draws them seemingly as large as a giant to up the drama. Prime example when big mom and kaido were standing over Luffy as he walked toward them. Characters like oden aren’t actually 13 feet tall

When luffy walked toward kaido and big mom they were like 30 feet tall lol but then you see his actual height
