Jugun asked question to one of them how secure is that service in terms of customers data will not be used by third parties for marketing purposes. So reply was its a matter of trust between customer and institution. What trust....I personally dont trust any bank even over seas or in Pak. The answer was quite brief not in detail that how secure is firewall so the hackers will not be able to intrude. 2nd what will be the means 9f communication if any problem arise such as if account been hack or any other issues....what is the turn around time to rectify the situation....how easily it can be addressed.....to be honest in Pak even you stand face to face they don't respond to your problem and try to fob off the situation we need to create a blog where people can express their real issues they are facing....there are so many grey areas to discuss and highlights.....it is a good concept but I am not thoroughly convinced due to its teething face.

MCB will open an account & then will NOT allow you to access it online (web portal) until you deposited some money into the account. Just a heads up for prospective account opener. Exact words from MCB: "You will not be able to login in case your account is not credited with the initial/first inward remittance." . . . "To start using banking services, kindly remit funds in the above mentioned account and then log on to the MCB Mobile Banking web-portal" Other banks will allow you to access your RDA online even before you deposited any money. MCB won't. Keep that in mind. Also all the banks are not very forthcoming with 10% with-holding tax on Naya Pak Certs as well as 30% tax on capital gains on stocks for non-filer, or 15% for a filer. Also dividends on stocks are taxed at 15% I think! Keep these taxes in mind as well. Then tax-agency of foreign country will also tax you once you repatriate the money back to your country of residence. As it will be considered an income. Also keep in mind that PKR has been devaluing against USD (& other currencies) since ever. So 11% profit you make on Naya Pak Cert in 5 years will have lost some of it's value in 5 years and will not really be 11% after 5 years if you tried to convert that back to USD etc.
I just opened this account. It’s pretty simple to open. It’s good incentive on part of Pakistan government. Overseas Pakistanis need products like this.
I have Roshan digital account but the MCB RDA team is worse that can't activate my card ten day time I called 5 time but they said me that I can call in evening or one hour later. And the RDA portal is not working I can not make transfer money to my family members if there is something not available or they working on at so they should leave a short note there
But if a overseas Pakistani wants to use this Roshan Digital account to have some money like rents of his or her property then this account can not be used to accept money from any other Pakistani bank not even MCB account as an internal transfer. I am not sure what is the logic behind this restriction if any one can elaborate? or this is just a glitch which can be resolved soon?

You should improve and secure you online login service with OTP Because when we log in just id and password required then account is open this is not secure after the password need to OTP option .
True they can set up 2 step verification login service so no one can login in your account of you don't have the device such as verification code send on your mobile number which quote commonly use as secure login.
