Hearing the success of the Gators who left in the portal having great success means it is not largely a player issue but practice coaching, in-game coaching, play-calling and team toughness.

I've never believed in the play calling complaint. A&M destroyed us with 4 run plays

Correct me if i am wrong... bit what i heard you guys say was that most power 5 practice squads are better then our starters. That explains a lot

I liked the Billy Napier hire at first.
But, I always thought he didn’t LOATHE losing like Spurrier or Urban did.

It's true that Meyer and Spurrier cannot handle losing as a normal person would. It's perhaps one thing that drove them so hard.

Dave, did you watch Nick Saban’s opinion on Floridas struggles? I think he may have something. I think it’s both on field coaching and an organizational problem. Florida’s failure to adapt and poor coaching. Players not held accountable. It all trickles down from the top.
The administration has a tough job ahead. With the portal and the expanded playoff will be tough.

The success to Napier in practice is both lines look better against themselves because neither is any good. So oline able to block a poor defensive line and vice versa . They suck period so practice is always going to look better because they ain't no good. Napier can't tell the difference because he never seen the difference. He Sunbelt and what he did in Louisiana doesn't translate in the SEC.

I suspect it's not bad players but bad coaches. The players that have left UF in the portal are doing very well because they are being coached and given a chance to succeed due to scheme and playcalling.

Napier has fielded a G5 program because he’s G5. UF leadership (minus Stricklin) needs to decide if UF is going to be an elite blue blood. If they are then they have to start funding that way and hiring that way. No more ready fire aim crap. No more chasing hot names or flavors of the season. Stop accepting mediocrity. Stop accepting excuses. Demand a high standard and then act accordingly.

All the university presidents need to meet with sports agents and inform them the days of excessive buyouts are over, to reduce them or they will eliminate them. Also, the schools need to avoid some of those buyouts by just reassigning the fired coach to other duties within the athletic department, at just their base salaries. They take away all the incentive for a coach to succeed knowing if they fire him they have to set him up for life. That’s rediculous.

They can't even do the most simple things in a football game. They are the most poorly coached team I've ever seen. I'm getting very similar vibes from the Arkansas game last year for this Miss St game.

I’m done with Billy Napier he start the most average players over his best players and it’s not going to get any better with this average coaching staff, there’s no way you in year 3 your offensive line and defensive line are trash and Soft..there’s no more excuses for Billy he had enough time and the reason why his players are better on the practice field is because they’re playing average players.
