Good content and nicely dressed also!

Do you have the capacitance values you used for this circuit, trying to recreate these results in the lab. I tried with 5pf caps and a bc560 transistor and could not reproduce.

Suggestion: Show a fast diode switch using shorted 1/4y transmission lines as isolators at GHz frequencies...

Interesting idea. How does the conventional diode version compare for isolation, using small signal diodes (e.g. 1N4148) or microwave diodes (e.g. BAT15)?
Nice lab! Stay safe and keep up the good work.

We need to test it !!
The diode is a simpler device, so the parasitics can also be less problematic..
Nevertheless, we have two isolation junctions with the transistor..

Can you do do a video about phase shifters designs and test? thanks for your knowledge

Esta solucion se usa en los generadore de RF como atenuedor variable para regular el nivel de RF (Wavetek 3000 y 2100)
    gracias!!!

Nice video, but you forgot to mention it's small signal switch, it can't switch T/R, at least in my experiment with bc547c and 8 volts tx signal. Did you try?

What if you went negative on the bias voltage? Won't this reduce the capacitance even more and give better isolation?

It helps but not so much. I also thinked it would make a big difference 😓

You might want to try switching the position of the collector and emitter of the BJT. I believe it can improve the gain at the output than you current configuration, but I might be wrong.

The transistor here is not working in active mode.. so there's no gain.. only two diodes in series..
