🇺🇸Thanks so much for checking out our channel! My name is Jim and I was born and raised on a Peanut and Cotton farm in north Florida. I love music, Jesus and long walks on the beach.
Your content gets better and better. We really appreciate the time you spend editing and filming, etc.
Really love to see you taking with the kids and your dad. Farms are better when all the age groups are involved.
That young man is sharp !
He will have a job waiting on him the day he graduates
Brings back memories of peanut harvest in Bainbridge.
Love the kids demeanor! Haha. That is a COUNTRY BOY!
Yeah he seems to have a good attitude 👍
Very impressed with that young man. He is going to be very successful, sharp as a tac
I know that kid and we farm in Danville me and him go to the same school
The 8120 is a pretty good tractor, I don’t know if y’all have it
Great content man, i am new here hope you guys have a safe harvest and make some money, kind regards from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Great video as always!! Keep up the good work
Great video!!!
Yeah peanut harvest in the Wiregrass listening are. Dothan should be getting ready if not already at it
I’m happy I was there
Glad I got to spend time with you. You know more about power lines and irrigation pivots than most grown men. Never stop learning, you are awesome!
Thanks
I am setting in my living room in Northern California having a little whisky eating peanuts loving this video I hope you get 4 tons per acre ❤❤❤
I wanna ride in the tractors 🚜 😭😭
Kick Randy in the butt and tell him to get to work. You guys are doing all the work.
The time that you guys take with those young people means so much.
Great job.
Great video! Treasure the conversations with your dad💙
Agricultural technology is driving innovation and progress in agriculture.
Jeff looks like he drinks bud light 😂😂
Cameron sure knows the farm talk. Great video Jim! I forgot what they use the bales for. Is it cattle food? Great stuff, really enjoyed it.
He knows more about irrigation pivots and power lines at 11 years old than I did at 40
@@keefe9325 He sounded like quite a student of the trade!!
what do y'all do with bales of vines?
What do they do with the peanut bales defeat in the cattle or use them for betting what is a good crop of peanuts?
@Fieldrows, are yall in Georgia
Great video! My favorite time of year, we’re picking here too in Jay,Florida!
I hope people realize how good this is. Respect! I used to do weather at WJHG Newschannel 7 a little more than a decade ago. I hope I was able to help you guys on the farm with the forecasts. Now I'm back in Arkansas. Small world it is.
No way, were you here during Hurricane Ivan ? We didn’t get much from storm but we had a major outbreak of tornadoes.
@@keefe9325 No, I was there a bit after…07-09. If I recall correctly, Ivan was the tornado event where Jason Kelley called the tornado on the ground live on the air. My time there was pretty inactive in the tropics. Tropical Storm Faye was it and was really not much of an event at all.
@@BudgetLawns Awesome, we appreciate what you did do for us. And Jason Kelly don’t play. If I remember correctly he was calling multiple tornadoes street by street at the same time. We had several in Jackson County that evening
@@keefe9325 appreciate what you guys do as well! Keep up the good work! Really enjoy the channel.
Like your channel. Learned something today. Is peanut hay somewhat like alfalfa hay as far as feed value.
Cows only i believe
Does y'all's peanuts stay in FL. Or maybe y'all don't know where they go after you sell them? Jw. Good ol videos of hard working. I go from surfing videos to y'all to Cole the cornstar then to supercross lol. Good group of guys youns got btw.
I picked the last 6 yrs with a 2110 picker with a 8370 R tractor other than A few teeth at the beginning of the year they put two bearing in it I'm 75 years old now I sure did enjoy e every minute of it. So think you Steve for giving me the opportunity to work with ya'll.
Just awesome teamwork guys. Well done. Loving the vids, keep'm coming.
You're absolutely one of my favorite shows love farm and grew up on a farm, but dude, where is your sons?

That's the best way to teach them kids to drive. I really enjoyed this video.
I stay in southeast Georgia right on the Florida line I seen some people down the road from my house has three peanut conbines those things are bad you still use a nut buggy but they get like 12 rows I seen three in one field today
Bring the kids with you to the farm
It is like planting the seeds of the future
Little farmer 🥰
Danville is next door to me. Good to see young folks interested in farming.
hi how is the penut crop this year you down south have hard time understand you with that southern talk slow i live in northeast . hot there and nice crop y thanks.
Please answer this question:
Was there regulation by the government at one time that limited a farmer to only planting 28 acres of peanuts per year.
There was an allotment in the past . It was the quota system.
Thank you
74', I was 6, lol. 100k come on, cheers!
Hi
I like for seasonal visa work is possible.
Does peanut hay make good feed for cattle?
I never realized how slow you have to go when picking peanuts. Great job guys
You oughta try it on an open tractor with an old 2 row Hi Cap
Woot woot!!! My fav peanuters!
What ends up happening to the peanuts?
Mostly peanut butter
He asked if bud light was in the chest, 🤣😂 Funny.
I love salted peanuts in a shell.years ago I hauled a trailer dry van to south central Georgia to a farm that had a dryer system and the dry van trailers where part of the dryer system.
Thank you for what you all do to help fed America.
Nothing better than harvest time! Wheat harvest just wrapping up in MT then will just be waiting for corn to get ready.
Started picking 🥜 today as well man. Out here in Tifton Ga. Wide open
I grew peanuts here in Tampa Florida Im drying them out right now but I'm finding I have a bug that is making holes in the peanut shell . Can u tell me what you think is causing it ? So I can prevent it next year
I do believe that your New Help really enjoyed their day. Nice that you let them enjoy the day with you guys. 🤩🤩🤩
Have y"all ever talked about using the self propelled combine
That convoy at the beginning of the video was awesome. Hope you pick a bumper crop this year.
What do you guys do with the round bales i know there is nutrition in different plant matter but wouldn't think of peanut plant

Comment
The convoy was a cool opening, thought it was going to break out into song.
Why do we never see Randy in the long TH-cam videos
Love the ones with Jeff. Kids in video are great.
First field down with no issues. I call that a great day!
Thanks for sharing your time and thoughts
I figured Randy would be on the nut buggy!?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love peanut picking season.
Good video. Cameron had fun.
Awesome first day for you all!
And it starts 🎉🎉🎉
Big wows folks big wows
👍
What is the peanut hay good for?
Cow feed
I loved seeing Cameron so interested in what y’all were doing !
what do they use the bales for?
Probably to feed to cows
Peanut hay makes great cattle feed, especially when mixed with corn silage and ground corn
Do you have to wrap it?
@samdiehl8591 it doesn't look like they did in the video, but I guess you could if you wanted to. My cousin never wraps his peanut hay. He just stacks it under a barn.
Thanks for sharing don’t forget to teach that young man how to pick peanut’s without the gps driving
