    Thanks, can I wire this straight into a 12v alarm? As in connecting it to a car horn .. So the circuit would be, car battery - motion switch - car horn..

    Hi, to install multiple different strips of LED's, can one just twist all the positive leads of the strips, plug that into the +output, and twist all the negative leads and plug that into the -output?

    • @Inspiredled
      @Inspiredled  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brennan as long as the lead cable is small enough to wire multiple leads into the terminal while still making good contact, that is acceptable. Please note that the Motion sensor has a power limit of 6amps, so the flexible strip load will need to be lower than that.

    • @Inspired-LED
      @Inspired-LED 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, our Motion Sensor is manufactured for indoor systems only. The exposed connection points won't hold up when in contact with outdoor elements like rain, snow, dust, and dirt. If you have any other questions in regards to your outdoor design feel free to call us directly!

    I need help! I have never worked with this sensors and I have been cautious in following the directions. I tell you; I bought four of these sensors and made the connection as suggested in the four separately, but the lights never go out. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong, since I think that maybe one of the sensors came wrong but the all four of them did not believe.Aid will be appreciated

      Inspired LED I want to do the same project of your video but I can't find any sensor for led here in my country. I just can find a variety of sensors for bulbs that we all know 120 volts.
      So, my logic tells me that it will work if I use it before the wall adapter. Don't you think so?

    • @Inspiredled
      @Inspiredled  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have 240V or 120V?
      The small plug in power supply (shown in the video at 0:58) can be used with 110-240V. You would just need an outlet adapter, if the prong plug does not work. This will convert from 110-240V to 12V to use with the 12V LED lights.

    Any idea to decrease the sensitivity? Or maybe delay time to sec. not mins please?

    • @Inspired-LED
      @Inspired-LED 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Diqi! Typically you will want to point the top of the viewing eye in the direction where motion needs to be detected. If you want to make the sensor less sensitive, point the side of the viewing eye towards the location where motion should be detected and the top of the viewing eye slightly away. Adjusting the 60 degree range will assist making the sensor less sensitive. For additional questions feel free to call us at 480-941-4286.

      Hi Sandra. Unfortunately, we do not have a faceplate for the Motion Sensor; however, you are more than welcome to install it in a small junction box. The only component that needs to be exposed is the clear globe on the top of the product. The plastic black housing can be concealed completely. Let us know if you have any additional questions. -Inspired LED
