Gosh, they really started this song off from high level! And they still like to put so many views of landscapes in their video - just like in "Bloodline" for example. I wish i could give two thumbs up for it. The way it sounds even reminded me of one song for Made Of Hate.
Godamm.. I wasn't aware this band already had a new album in the making. That's what I call symphonic death metal. Great band, great song... expected no less.
The song is about change and originates its title from the Greek philosopher Heraclitus. From Wikipedia "He was most famous for his insistence on ever-present change-known in philosophy as "flux" or "becoming"-as the characteristic feature of the world; an idea expressed in the sayings, "No man ever steps in the same river twice", and panta rhei ("everything flows"). "
You introduced me to them with Bloodline. I get an Ensiferum vibe as well. Extremely fast paced that is something new since last record. Not sure if it lives up to the hype I've built up for the record but sure it won't let me down. Hade the same feel about midnight rendezvous but really like it now after several listens
It is just so satisfyingly melodic and yet still driven by guitars and drums in the way that makes them special, at least, to a certain degree. And they added some new elements, which compliment this song´s general soundscape. Since you mentioned a mermaid in this reaction, there is a new single from an upcoming EP by the band Ignea, which they made in collaboration with another Ukrainian band called Ersedu and mermaids play a part in it: IGNEA feat. ERSEDU - Mermaids (Official Music Video)
I'm not a fan of that particular growl/scream style but that was one helluva well crafted song. I'd like more of those lovely clean vocals. Anyway, I'm off to check out the album!
"Panta Rhei" translated as Everything Flows is one of the most famous philosophical quotes of all times. ... The philosophy of Heraclitus is one of movement and change. It is normal to sense this melody flows...But for sure not pirate...
Damm this good. Quite like it. Should do a reaction to Alien Weponary they just reslised new song it called Hatupatu. And also Bring Me The Hoizion has also new song out called Die 4 U
Their music is so delightful. Marion's vocal are cool. I think she's constantly trying to sing over the music? There is no pause, no pure instrumental moments to create a mood and "rest" in it. The constant stream of vocal on +/- the same note is tiring my ears. So a bit less vocals would actually make me enjoy MORE the vocals, if that makes sense. I love the band btw :)
I just love these French metallers & already pre-ordered the new album.
This song actually gives massive aether realm vibes. Especially the melodies and the vocal style.
Great review guys! I hope to watch another interview with the band very soon. Cheers from the Aephanemer Fans Army
We will be chatting when we get closer to release date
Definitely folky and fun, catchy and Marion's vocals... 😍

Knew it was only a matter of time, can't wait for this album, love it!
I discovered them just a few days ago in my recommendations and the new album went straight to my Bandcamp wishlist
Saw them live back in 2019 with Alestorm, what a killer band. Also really nice people, we were introduced to them in 2019 by a Patreon Request.
Such a great band & I already pre-ordered the new album as I already have all their previous releases.
Damn that was good!! Looking forward to the new album!
the moment she goes from clearvoice to scream... hits like a whip... loving it
This is great, greater, Aephanemer!! Can't wait to listen to the hole record! Greetings from Germany to you, guys!🤘

I think you are thinking of Alestorm because they opened for them at the Opera House where we saw them last... Ensiferum is a good call!
