I never questioned the skeleton part, bc it's a jungle, even with dinos, there's got to be tons of insects and smaller animals looking for a meal, and hanging in the trees keeps him from larger predators that would disarticulate the body.
@@Terrordome3000 yeah. i took a forensics class and watch criminal case documentaries, as well as study law. you would be surprised at how fast bodies can decompose, especially in a tropical climate like that. temperature, moisture, and other factors can quicken or slow down decomp too, so 8 weeks is actually on the slightly slower side for such a climate. in optimum conditions, an exposed human body can actually be reduced to bone in like 10 days
If I'm not worng there was also a part in the script of the movie in the scene where the videos in the camera are being watched when the last recording of the parasail fall, Ben's voice while he speaks is described as "weak" or something, in a way that implies he was suffocating
The Jurassic Park wiki claimed he was killed by Raptors which I never bought because Ben would’ve been ripped to shreds or carried away, and yet his bones were still in the tree.
Likely the humid environment of the island(caused by literally dino farts and poop gases 😂) likely sped up the decaying process. Causing the skeleton to be that way heh. Plus raptors and other dinos picking what they could from it.
By the way, about what happened to Ben’s body. If I remember correctly, Eric was stranded on Island Sorna for about 8 weeks; to me, that seems like it could be enough time for his body to rot away on its own.

I have always believed it was the Compys that picked his corpus clean. Aric defiantly encountered them and knew they were dangerous,
Eric u mean. I think you wrote Aric on accident is what I'm saying
Amanda screaming in this scene was fucking hilarious

Where? Ben's article doesn't mention being killed by raptors, and has a tab for Survivor that basically recited his dying moments.
I've always thought that the raptors killed Ben.
Rip Ben
Finally the question is answered
I actually look forward to these fact videos ngl, keep it up 👍
