It's not that far of a stretch if at all to think RFID would exist and for such purposes. In one of the Tiberian Dawn cutscenes where the Obelisk of Light is introduced we can see such a system of some similarity being used.
I think it's a dome, because otherwise it would be a "stealth array". It seems there is one central part of the building, that generates the effect, and the rest are supporting it. Meaning only 1 antenna, 1 dome. However, in cnc3, we can see smaller tower. Which are smaller version of the big dome. If all those would be connected, like how the turrets are, they were to be an array. It would be nice, if in cnc5, we could get a stealth array. Basically, 1 big source, and other close by amplificators that strengthen the effect, in smaller domes. This would mean, that small skirmishes are less likely to damage the whole, but bigger skirmishes and strikes would be more rewarding. It would make sense in lore too. As in lore, instead of having a giant building, you could just be putting the amplificators to every building, like an upgrade, to hide them. This way NOD forces could be in a city, but also hidden. This would eliminate the failures of the second tiberium war, and would combine the successes the third war, into a more developed, more standard setup, taking the best of both worlds.
It's interesting how the Black Hand was integral to testing and deploying NOD's earliest stealth tech, but later eschewed stealth technology all together during and after TW2, particularly under Marcion as NOD's stealth technology proliferated again to other unit types. This maybe some over my head speculation but I think the cloak field support power in Tiberium wars maybe related to the Chronosphere technology in a way. I say this as The Chronosphere was only able to work on vehicles but killed infantry if used. If we go by the theorized timeline of the Tiberium timeline taking place during the Soviet victory in Red Alert 1 then it could be argued that Kane was able to salvage some of the tech following it’s destruction. Perhaps intentionally sabotaging the tech from being recovered by Stalin so it could be snuck away. But again, this is some wild speculation that may not be true at all.
Actually this is my theory too. The Chronosphere was based on the Philadelphia Experiment which was originally supposed to be an attempt to make a ship radar stealth but ended up accidentally transporting it. In Red Alert:The Aftermath the Allies develop the Phase Tank, which is effectively a stealth tank, in another mission the Soviets Steal it. Lastly, what do those spheres in the track sections of the TD stealth tank remind you of? My guess is that originally WW intended stealth technology as some sort of phasing an object out of reality, which probably also better explains how the TS stealth generator works (also notice how the stealth generator has a sphere)
You could probably add that the stealth field of C&C Renegade stealth soldier could be extended to another person, in that cutscene where Dr. Petrova revealed she's working with Nod and a stealth soldier carried Sydney away, cloaking her body as well. The mutated Petrova could also cloak herself, even when not wearing the stealth suit. GDI vehicle design in C&C 3 was said to have stealth design in the sense of being undetected by radar, this was from the C&C 3 design manual.
So it is true! I've also heard about GDI using stealth on their vehicles. Not nearly as good as the stealth Nod used, but definitely better than the stuff we use today in the sense that it can make it more difficult for radar and weapons to lock on or detect the vehicle if they can detect it at all.
I have no idea how they justified spectre teams being stealthef while moving while also carrying a glider on back, but the commando becoming unstealthed when moving.
Looking at all the new stealth units in TW and KW and especially the permanent cloaking field support power I think that a good lore reason for the disruption tower not being able to cloak itself is the much cheaper production of the building. The third war was planned and started by nod so a wide scale production of full stealth generators might have not been feasible. The disruption tower offered an option to provide stealth options for most combat operations. A good indicator is also its much smaller size compared to the old stealth generator making me think that there must've been significant technological progress.
I am loving these videos. I've been subbed for a while. I'm surprised you don't use any footage from RenegadeX seeing as it is much better in terms of graphics for a lot of your demonstrations. Just a suggestion! Keep up the great work!
You think the gdi would think to keep nod's tech data in more then one place after the first time nod takes it back, nod has it so there's no need to make sure it's only in a heavily build up base.
@@RC-qv9in gdi: ok we just need to copy this to some flash drives. But that would take away from the money for the extra closests. Budget cuts, I'm I right.

10:05 *COATING YOUR BUILDINGS* or perhaps put them under a voltage of sorts... something JUST nod buildings have. or use some kind of tiberium shenanigans (like impure metal) ... which also explains nods overall cheaper +weaker units! *THERE YOU GO* :D
"Hey Kane, we could just take a small, reguarly armored and armed tank, with good crew safety and cloak it." "Cool. But I think we should make the drive sit in the turret and make it far more futury-looking for no reason."
Another fantastic video. Also Fan Theory: What if Prince Kassad (the GLA stealth specialist) actually escaped/avoided being killed during Deathstrike's unification campaign and was taken in by Nod?
@@RC-qv9in Thank you. Since in Tiberium Dawn that it's stated that Nod has ties to terrorist group around the world so it's plausible the main problem is the timelines. The First Tiberium War starts in 1997 while the First GLA War started in 2013 and Kassad is 34 around the time of Deathstrike taking power in the GLA
so the Nod Stealth Tecnology is using principle of bending the light...no wonder they completely invisible, I thought they using somekind technologies which would allow an object to blend into its surroundings by use of panels or coatings capable of changing color or luminosity.
I've also heard from threads that GDI made use of "Generation 6 stealth," which isn't as good as Nod stealth, but similar to modern stealth technology, can make it more difficult for radars and targeting systems to lock on if the radars are advanced enough to detect in the first place. Has anyone else heard anything about that?
Well when a “certain party” has it their way, it’s about a person with two moms. When sane people have it their way, it’s about being as strong as possible to defend the country.
@@derkatwork33 Exactly. And in order to get the proper defense in GDI a tough enemy is needed to rile things up...and that is the Brotherhood of Nod. Either that or an Alien Invasion but i think with the Brotherhood the human race has a far greater chance of survival.
11:56 "[...] whick would cause GDI to scramble its aircraft to the area, only to have them arrive and find nothing" Subterranean APC, clearly visible: *pretending to be a penguin*
I can tell you how the generator can discern between a GDI-unit and a Nod-unit... IFF-signals (IFF: Identifier Friend/Foe). Units with a positive IFF-return are friendly units, units with a negative IFF-return are hostile units and thus denied the shrouding effect.
19:12 Eeeehhhhh..... I wouldn't say the Vertigo Bomber is the "successor" to the Banshee because they played 2 completely different roles. The Banshee was a fighter, powerful against vehicles, but didn't do so well against structures. The Vertigo, however, is a bomber, capable of devastating enemy buildings.
Am I crazy, or was one of the names for the Stealth soldiers in Renegade "Chameleons"? I may be mistaking them for something else, but I swear I've seen them be referred to as Chameleons as well as Stealth Black Hand

Stealth Technology. The thing that truly makes Nod unique. Also screw Stealth Tanks in Command and Conquer 3. Those things are the worst when you play as GDI. One moment your building your army, no rush. Suddenly, there's four of these things blowing up your refinery when you have no money
I think that lasers, minituarized particle beams, cyborgs, and Tiberium based flames as well as Chemical sprayers and other things also make Nod unique. GDI also makes use of stealth according to one of the manuals, though it's nowhere near as advanced as Nods is, but would put what we have today to shame in terms of making their units undetectable, or at least much more difficult to detect by radar.

Not nearly as good as the stealth Nod used, but definitely better than the stuff we use today in the sense that it can make it more difficult for radar and weapons to lock on or detect the vehicle if they can detect it at all.
@@Noah-zz8uw From what I remember, yes, GDI stealth is designed to be better than modern vehicle stealth.
Love these videos so much.
👍🏻
This video has stealthily appeared in my sub feed. I can't be more surprised.
At least you eventually detected it.
I comment
IN THE NAME OF KANE!
Wouldn't it be nice if they made another c&c fps?
I'd love to see some of the scrin up close.
🦂
Well "Tiberium" could be a game about this but it was cancelled. I really want to play as nod commander not gdi one.
There is a Fan Project that has made an Awesome Tiberium Dawn and Tiberium Sun campaign multiplayer shooter, alas no story campaign however.
This amaizing! Keep up the good work!
👍🏻
I’m loving these
❤️
Eyyyyy we back for another one bois
What is the best science fiction combat vehicle, and why is it the Brotherhood of Nod Stealth Tank?
🦂
How appropriate - I would've watched this video yesterday, when I checked my subscriptions at lunchtime, but somehow it snuck past me...
Maybe the video was in stealth mode.
Shhh
Aww yeah! Finally something about the brotherhood. The three components to make the mod puff girls. Stealth, lasers and fire!
Cloaked Video Detected.
Interesting point.
Its just perfect pls keep going ❤️
👍🏻
Just started playing RenegadeX again and i really enjoy theese videos !
👍🏻
I am loving these videos. I've been subbed for a while. I'm surprised you don't use any footage from RenegadeX seeing as it is much better in terms of graphics for a lot of your demonstrations. Just a suggestion! Keep up the great work!
Good work!!!
👍🏻
You think the gdi would think to keep nod's tech data in more then one place after the first time nod takes it back, nod has it so there's no need to make sure it's only in a heavily build up base.
I guess GDI just needs more closet space.
@@RC-qv9in gdi: ok we just need to copy this to some flash drives. But that would take away from the money for the extra closests.
Budget cuts, I'm I right.
@@willnorman-bargo 👍🏻
Nice description, Brotherhood is proud of you
sometimes i like to imagine that since red alert 1 had a phase tank and kane was apart of that history that the phase technogoly was intergrated into the brotherhood of nod.
"Hey Kane, we could just take a small, reguarly armored and armed tank, with good crew safety and cloak it."
"Cool. But I think we should make the drive sit in the turret and make it far more futury-looking for no reason."
"What should we call our Top Secret program to develop a stealth tank?"
"How about Project Stealth Tank?"
Another fantastic video. Also Fan Theory: What if Prince Kassad (the GLA stealth specialist) actually escaped/avoided being killed during Deathstrike's unification campaign and was taken in by Nod?
Interesting premise.
Truly didn’t care about this series or it’s lore until I discovered your content. Thank you for showing me a cool world!
Whoop a new cnc vid. Means I've got to watch them all again yay :)
👍🏻
A binge watching morning.
@@RC-qv9in and guess what!!! There's another vid. Whoop whoop. :)
Command & Conquer gameplay: these are the bad guys; destroy their base
Command & Conquer lore:
I've also heard from threads that GDI made use of "Generation 6 stealth," which isn't as good as Nod stealth, but similar to modern stealth technology, can make it more difficult for radars and targeting systems to lock on if the radars are advanced enough to detect in the first place.
Has anyone else heard anything about that?
I haven’t heard of it.
After the recent ad about USA military.......i think we need Kane more than ever.
Defund the GDI!!!!
🦂
Well when a “certain party” has it their way, it’s about a person with two moms. When sane people have it their way, it’s about being as strong as possible to defend the country.
@@derkatwork33 Exactly. And in order to get the proper defense in GDI a tough enemy is needed to rile things up...and that is the Brotherhood of Nod. Either that or an Alien Invasion but i think with the Brotherhood the human race has a far greater chance of survival.
Hear hear. Down with the GOP!
11:56 "[...] whick would cause GDI to scramble its aircraft to the area, only to have them arrive and find nothing"
Subterranean APC, clearly visible: *pretending to be a penguin*
I can tell you how the generator can discern between a GDI-unit and a Nod-unit... IFF-signals (IFF: Identifier Friend/Foe). Units with a positive IFF-return are friendly units, units with a negative IFF-return are hostile units and thus denied the shrouding effect.
That reminds me how the first unit i gave nod when modding was a stealth soldier, TS really feels rushed :(
YEEEES i love your vids
👍🏻
Are you being stalked by Nod right now?
You have no idea
and they would have you
But make it quick
19:12 Eeeehhhhh..... I wouldn't say the Vertigo Bomber is the "successor" to the Banshee because they played 2 completely different roles. The Banshee was a fighter, powerful against vehicles, but didn't do so well against structures. The Vertigo, however, is a bomber, capable of devastating enemy buildings.
Valid point.
3:30.
Kane cocking an empty gun makes me smile.
Do you guys still 'member the Tiberian Sun cloaking/stealth sound? I 'membeeer. Ahh the nostalgy...
Amazing videos
👍🏻
Thanks you Lieutenant Review Major
I dig this content. :)
Groovy!
Am I crazy, or was one of the names for the Stealth soldiers in Renegade "Chameleons"? I may be mistaking them for something else, but I swear I've seen them be referred to as Chameleons as well as Stealth Black Hand
Great video and Great work, continue like this man :) Iam so glad Ive found your channel, So much lore Ive never knew there was haha
Once again, keep up the good work :)
It’s a shame that they never made CnC 4.
Yeah.... such a shame
Only the false CnC 4 that herasy dont deserve to be on this earth
I see what you did there.
There was also never a mobile game of C&C.
Thanks for this. Dont want to sound too demanding but maybe a walker video like wolverines, titans, juggernauts and avatars...
Yep, I plan to do a video on mechanized walkers in the future.
@@Jethild NOICE!! :D :D eagerly waiting
Btw is "X-01 Wolverine" a real unit from Covert Ops or not? (I saw it in a Generals mod called TD Redux)
Achievement for Mission Completed Successfully.
Thank you for still not treating the 4th game as canon.
I d'ucking love the c&c tib series
@@Noah-zz8uw I meant more in general RTS games. I haven't seen another with a faction that has a focus on Stealth
@@Mobysimo Star Craft 2 co-op commanders. There is at least 2 that I can remember that are PURE stealth focused.
And they say GDI has all the cool stuff.
