I had a Mini Moog, Roland DX7, Yamaha V50, KORG M1, and the 05R/W sound module... everything got sold but the M1. (yes I know.. I shouldn't have sold the Mini Moog, but I was moving, couldn't take it with me, and had no money.. so), but at least it went to a buyer in Italy!... maybe you even know him!!.. can't remember his name, but I believe he was a doctor or dentist, about your age or older, and had a huge collection of analog synths, both in keyboards and entire room with modular synths on the walls! I felt like at least my Mini Moog was going to feel like in home, and get a proper restauration and maintenance. :)

Well i may have been a bit pessimistic when i posted my comment...
I still love playing around with sound, but unfortunately i don't have the time to focus on music. honestly sometimes i do get a beautiful sound that inspires me but then i realize i do have to put time (that i don't really have) to make it work/sound good.
Im no musical artist, nor have i ever learned anything on school, anything i do have learned was searching online or playing around with a daw. Nothing is easy to do, but with enough time and dedication you will learn.
And yes having a good ear that can pick the slightest differences of sounds in a track, sure does help. I don't have a trained ear, but since dubstep (and it's brethren, deathstep, melodic dubstep and some others) are the ones i listen most, I can only dream to ever make some of the sounds that artist within that genre make.

Nice video! I just love the lush, yet simple Rhodes EP part! I have one, too. It is a mint condition 73 stage model, but it has the suitcase Petersen pre-amp/vibrato for the satellite speakers of which I don't have. I don't get to play it as often as I would like to because it always has the lid on it to prevent it from getting dusty.

Nice track! That Rhodes blends really well with the Yamaha TX81 bass sound. It kind of reminds me of some instrumental tracks from Incognito in the early 90's. Like from their "Inside Life" Album from 1991 which also features the song "Always there". Incognito used the Rhodes piano a lot on their earlier albums from that era. They had such a great combination of styles from acid jazz to dance and powerfull soul vocals.
