mine too. i liked rural earth best ,but if she's keeping the windows and doors white, that would look too jarring. I've seen similar colors together on zillow. it looks awful. Woodcliff would contrast well with white
I find Rural Earth too red, while Woodcliff Lake is warm and rich. It’s a much more versatile colour given the beam, floor, and white doors/windows! I love it!
Just want to take a moment to shout out Romeo for all of his support in the renovation journey of your 2 homes. I’m sure he doesn’t always want to do a lot of the work involved in these projects, but I’ve never seen him complain, and he is available to lend a hand when you need it. Sending Romeo his flowers 💐💐💐
Totally agree, Romeo is definitely the ultimate male partner so willing to help, and his love for MaCenna is quite evident even when she's playfully ignoring him😊
Wood cliff lake has my vote! Just enough contrast with the floor and very warm. The other colours are beautiful but blend to much with the grout I’m the brick
My favorite is Dash of Pepper but I am a green girl. I also like the wood cliff lake. I think the rural earth is too close to the dark stain of the beam. Can’t wait to see what you choose.
Woodcliff lake!! It looks so lovely next to the brick without being an actual tone of the brick like some of the other ones are. It will be so pretty with the wood beam too.
Dash of pepper is my choice❤ I think a brown/ taupe may seem like a room full of browns ..the floor is brown -orangey.. a hint of color would be great! And my favorite color is green
I can't tell very well from the colors samples you have, but it seems that something that would match the grout of the brick floor or the lightest color of the bricks. Or even another color of the bricks. Your house is looking beautiful and whatever you choose will be amazing .
Woodcliff Lake is the way to go! I think it pulls out just the right 'tones' in the brick & makes it a FEATURE, whereas the other ones contrast and make the brick dull. (ps you guys are brave to take up the carpet before painting 😅lol)
My first choice would be Rural Earth. Woodcliff Lake looks good as well. Looking forward to view the room finished! 😊 EDIT: I’m now thinking Rural Earth will blend too much with the beam color and the bedside tables, so Woodcliff Lake would be my choice.
Rural Earth all the way! I was never a a brown person until I started watching your channel. Of course now I love your neutral colours, you have such wonderful taste McCenna. I can hardly wait till next week. I’m so excited to see the bedroom completed. Kingsley was so cute on the bed while you and Romeo were trying to strip it 😄
I love the richness of "Woodcliff lake", but I also really enjoy the mossy tone of "dash of pepper," just wish that one was a shade darker, making it a tad bit moodier! Can't wait to see the finished room, I just know it will look amazing!
I'm loving the earthy green undertones of dash of pepper would bring in the vibes of the kitchen and formal living room. Would tie into the art that you had previously hung on the wall And your bedding.
I like the tone of Woodcliff Lake the most with the brick floors. I can't wait to see how the room turns out! Also, I'm excitedly awaiting the arrival of my Arlow and Ellori candles! Such a special way for us to participate in what you are doing and have a little touch of your style in our homes!
Woodcliff lake is my favorite brings out the color of the brick and provides a contrast with the black nightstands going into the space but feels cozy in that space!
She is continuing to go places I would have never gone.. but she sold me on trusting her with design when I saw everything she did with the cottage! I watched all episodes back to back until I caught up and I was in Awe! So who am I to think “no” to all these colors. Lol I’m just waiting to be shocked and blown away and inspired all at the same time with her design eye. I’ve learned that trends and fads are irrelevant and who tells us what’s good and bad and we believe it anyway? I am embracing so much more now that I see it’s all beautiful. No right answer. I’m sure any of these she will make look stunning in the end.
And if she doesn't like it, she can always paint it another colour. Paint is relatively cheap so can easily be changed if you change your mind or get tired of it.
I really like Woodcliff Lake. I think it will complement the beam and brick floor nicely. I think it’ll have a nice moody impact on the room since it does get so much light. . Btw, my living room is sculptors clay and the upper third of my dining room is black mocha. Lol! We have similar color styles. Haha!
I vote fairview taupe! because for me, since this room has windows showing the garden and skylights, i picture it to be a garden inspired french room and this color leans green while staying neutral and not straight out green. Think greenhouse, antique distressed furniture, detailed moulding, moss-y things, beautiful roses.. idk just what i feel for this room :)
Rural earth, woodcliff lake and dash of pepper 💖💖💖 And I love this room as a bedroom! The placement of the windows gives it a totally different feel than a regular bedroom.
I LOVE the rural earth (if thats the dark brown with the purple undertone). The room would feel so rich, elegant & expensive (lol). Also, the art you own would be to die for on that colour.
Woodcliff is my choice! I think it goes with the mood of your home and makes the flooring pop not to matchy matchy! Gold frames and art would look amazing with this background.
I like Rural Earth and Dash of Pepper best against the floors. I wonder though, which color compliments your bathroom colors as well since it’s all part of the master suite. I’m sure the room will look beautiful whatever you choose.
Rural Earth is my fav! Woodcliff Lake looks good too, but Rural Earth pulls out and compliments the brick a bit more and brings that classy yet warm French vibe. Woodcliff Lake comes across more modern on the other hand, still super pretty. Really depends what you will feel better with and other colours you plan to pair with it. Thank you for all the hard work with the vlogmas, it's become the highlight of my evenings ❤
I love the Rural Earth, but honestly I can't imagine painting a room with any of these dark colors. I totally trust your design aesthetic, though. Rustic taupe is good too.
I'm obsessed with Dash Of Pepper and Fairview Taupe! I think they just look so classy and chic, not that the others aren't, but these two just look stunning. However, I know you can always make everything work with your style so any of the paint colors would look amazing! 🤎
They pull in the colour of the grout, which I think would make the room look cohesive and calming without being matchy-matchy. They’re also really neutral so gives opportunity for pops of colour of changing it up with bedding
Great to see Romeo in your videos, coming out of his shell more😊😊😊 Those corner pillars are great idea, they do them for crown modelling as well,no more mitres😊
Love seeing you and Romeo working together. You two get along so well. But Kinsley's toes under the door while you were pulling up the carpet by your closet was so cute! She steals the scene every time!
Hi MaCenna, great job 👍 so my initial instinct is Rural Earth, but I also like Fairview Taupe. I think you should go with your first choice/gut feeling!
My vote is for Woodcliff Lake! It complements the brick floors and feels closest to your mood board! I’m a long time follower, thank you for all the inspiration and empowering me to take on my own home renovations!
I love the moody earth tones. We've owned our home for 24 years and I have ALWAYS been earth tones in this home and honestly took some jabs on my "browns". But I have never tired of my warmer choices. I can switch out colors in other things when I feel like it. Then the white/gray trends came and still here for many and it's just not me. I'm still rocking my warm earth tones and totally happy. I feel it's so complimentary to many colors so you can change it up anyway you want without a complete makeover 😊 Everything you do comes out absolutely beautiful, so whatever color you choose, it will be cozy and gorgeous 😊
I painted our primary bedroom "Black Cat" in the summer. Floor to ceiling. It is a black with a very very dark green undertone. With gold/brass details and rich wood. I am obsessed with it. We even have better sleeps now because of the darkness. It feels so cozy, rich and moody.
I love this girl so much!!! I admire her logic and methodical approach to each design element, her French provincial design aesthetic (which is not my own, prefer more of a Parisian style) and how she and Romeo work together as a team and sweet little doggie Kinsley. 👍🏽❤️😉
Throwing an idea out there - why not use retique it on the French doors and stain them the same tone as the beam? It could add so much character and dept to the space! I am sure the room is going to turn out absolutely amazing as always!
Dash of Pepper is my first choice. With exception of Rural Earth, all seem to work well with the brick color as well as the white accent doors and moldings. Woodcliff Lake would be my second choice. Thank you for asking us to vote - so fun to "design" with you!
I love Rural Earth and Dash of Pepper, so warm and moody french provential, im trying to remember the colour in the french town house you stayed in ..loved your mood board...i actually like these tones because they are just your style moody darker...but what ever you choose as you can see what compliments your bathroom..the best will be good choice.. Kinsley was so cute observing the small paint swatches on the wall shes such an inquisitive and intelligent sweet dog bless her...adorable..😄
Woodcliff lake, I feel you will notice the beam more with a green color verses a brown. I was thinking there would be a burgundy/purple/red color. The bedroom is looking amazing so far!
my vote is Woodcliff Lake. Love all the molding you added. Its gonna look beautiful and you will love waking up in the morning in your new updated space.
I saw a living room painted Dash of Pepper and loved it! I've wanted to do a room of my own in that ever since. I'm sure it'll look good no matter what you choose.
If you ever want to try a black-ish paint, I highly recommend Behr’s Cracked Pepper. I bought their highest end paint in a satin finish and my bedroom is gorgeous! Doesn’t look black, just a deep lovely dream!
@@taylorewalters My house is mid-century and has the original walnut colored wood. Cracked Pepper made me love the walnut and they beautifully complement each other.
I’d love to see you pick your color, then paint the inside of the frames one shade lighter on the card. It’s very subtle, but impactful. I’m obsessed with everything you do!❤
Woodcliff is so classy/moody! That is my vote as well. ❤
More versatility than Rural Earth, imo. I’d put both large swatches up against the white windows. I believe Woodcliff would pair best.
mine too. i liked rural earth best ,but if she's keeping the windows and doors white, that would look too jarring. I've seen similar colors together on zillow. it looks awful. Woodcliff would contrast well with white
I find Rural Earth too red, while Woodcliff Lake is warm and rich. It’s a much more versatile colour given the beam, floor, and white doors/windows! I love it!
Yes, Woodcliff all the way!!!!
YES!! lol came here to say this. It is a gorgeous colour. The brick becomes it's own feature too.
Wood cliff lake pairs nicely with the brick floors and I think goes with your mood board the best!
Woodcliff Lake. Goes great with the floors and it compliments the colors in your kitchen. This is going to be beautiful ❤️ ☺️
Just want to take a moment to shout out Romeo for all of his support in the renovation journey of your 2 homes. I love how great they work together.. my hubby and I working together on a project omg a nightmare lol we have renovated to flips together
Rural earth for my vote! It pulls the dark, warm, cozy tones from the brick.
Woodcliff Lake compliments the brick so well and will create that earthy, moody vibe. Looking so good!
Yes, Woodcliff has that dark, moody, mossy tone that is so classy. 🎅🤶🧑🎄🎄
Wood cliff lake has my vote! Just enough contrast with the floor and very warm. The other colours are beautiful but blend to much with the grout I’m the brick
I agree
I'm team "Dash of Pepper" or "Woodcliff Lake", I love these two with the brick floor 🥰
I'm so happy to see Romeo become more and more comfortable on camera ❤ The teamwork makes the dream work
I love the Rural Earth color, it’s so rich and woody looking. I also like Woodcliff Lake.
Woodcliff lake feels calmer .. and I think it will have a nice contrast with white doors
Rural earth would be absolutely STUNNNING and so so moody
Rural earth! Feels both warm and moody, complements the brick so well. I think it will make you feel enveloped in the room like a big cozy blanket
SAME
Dash of pepper is my choice❤ I think a brown/ taupe may seem like a room full of browns ..the floor is brown -orangey.. a hint of color would be great! And my favorite color is green
Agree 100%
Team rural earth or woodcliff lake
I thought the same ...
Same!
My two picks as well
Those were my choices also, they contrast the floor but compliment them at the same time.
Same here…leaning towards Rural Earth!!!
I can't tell very well from the colors samples you have, but it seems that something that would match the grout of the brick floor or the lightest color of the bricks. Or even another color of the bricks. Your house is looking beautiful and whatever you choose will be amazing .

I personally like Woodcliff Lake and rural earth such pretty colors that I think bring out the brick and white windows
I love the Rustic Taupe
Woodcliff lake looks really good with the brick
Rural Earth all the way! I was never a a brown person until I started watching your channel. Of course now I love your neutral colours, you have such wonderful taste McCenna. I'm obsess with rural Earth. I think its dark and moody but compliments the brick the best
Definitely agree with woodcliff.
Good luck choosing xxx
Wood cliff lake or rural earth!!! Can’t wait to see this all done!
I love the richness of "Woodcliff lake", but I also really enjoy the mossy tone of "dash of pepper," just wish that one was a shade darker, making it a tad bit moodier! Can't wait to see the finished room, I just know it will look amazing!
I agree with you. I'm for woodcliff lake, but if the hue of dash of pepper was a bit darker, then that'd be my pick.
I'm loving the earthy green undertones of dash of pepper would bring in the vibes of the kitchen and formal living room. Would tie into the art that you had previously hung on the wall And your bedding.
Love rural earth! It compliments the brick, but keeps the warmth, as that is the tone you are always looking for!
I’m loving the rural earth. Brings the floor out and the black would look great with it
I like the tone of Woodcliff Lake the most with the brick floors. I can't wait to see how the room turns out! Also, I'm excitedly awaiting the arrival of my Arlow and Ellori candles! Such a special way for us to participate in what you are doing and have a little touch of your style in our homes!
Rustic Taupe is my choice. Can hardly wait to see it completed.
Mine too!
Mine too
Romeo is great to tag team the process. He's a keeper .
That "failed" cartwheel and "So much more room." Making Fun from work.
Kinsley Is Life. She is always ready to help, too. Oh my fluff!
Woodcliff lake is my favorite brings out the color of the brick and provides a contrast with the black nightstands going into the space but feels cozy in that space!
I like the one with the green undertone. It compliments the brick color.

Woodcliff lake, most contrasting beautiful color with the flooring 😍
Rural earth, woodcliff lake and dash of pepper 💖💖💖 And I love this room as a bedroom! The placement of the windows gives it a totally different feel than a regular bedroom.
I LOVE the rural earth (if thats the dark brown with the purple undertone). The room would feel so rich, elegant & expensive (lol). Also, the art you own would be to die for on that colour.
Woodcliff gets my vote! I think it looks nice with the flooring and also the black mirror and nightstands.
I love the second one from the bottom of the original swatches you got.
Woodcliff is gorgeous!
Woodcliff is my choice! I think it goes with the mood of your home and makes the flooring pop not to matchy matchy! Gold frames and art would look amazing with this background.
I loved the rural earth color! ❤

Rustic Taupe looks nice.
I love the warmth of rustic taupe and how it looks with the red brick floors.
My favorites are woodcliff lake and rustic taupe! Rural earth would make the beam dissapear I think !
I love the woodclif lake! ❤ awesome video, as usual! Such a funny moment with Romeo cartwheeling 🤸♂️ 😂
Olive green would look fabulous with brick floors and german smear would be awesome
Rural Earth looks incredible 😊

Rural earth, the warmest tone always!
Definitely Woodcliff!! it looks so good
I also like woodcliff! Dark enough but not too dark! Beautifully moody!
Great to see Romeo in your videos, coming out of his shell more😊😊😊
Those corner pillars are great idea, they do them for crown modelling as well,no more mitres😊
Woodcliff is my top pick! Perfectly moody, lovely contrast with the white trim, and I think it will make the brick floors look even more incredible. 😍
Dash of pepper ... the greenest of the bunch ... I'm all for the green 😉
Rural Earth!
I would also love an all green walls moment... Im really not into beige. I'm very excited how this renovation is turning out, love ya!
YAY!!! AT LAST!!! MOODY BEDROOM!!!❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
I love the way Kinsley likes to help. When you chucked her out to take up the carpet, her little paws were coming under the door 🥰🥰🇬🇧
omg I had to go back and look. That was her white rope toy, but it lines up perfectly to look like her feet 😂 Adorable
@@valarya lol i went back to look, thought it was her paws too until i read your comment
❤❤❤ I was melting the entire time!!
I love your style so much I can’t wait to see the finished product!! I’m leaning towards Woodcliff Lake and Rural earth ❤️
I second your inclinations!!! Rural earth probably the most.
Rural earth is stunninggg
Dash of pepper is gorgeous with those floors
I am so excited for your bedroom makeover. Thank you so much for your design and renovation content.
Love seeing you and Romeo working together. You two get along so well. But Kinsley's toes under the door while you were pulling up the carpet by your closet was so cute! She steals the scene every time!
I think her dog might have separation anxiety, lol.
I know I’m going to love this transformation 🤎 rooting for dark green walls or anything darker 🙌🏼
Team woodcliff lake - brings warmth , depth and calmness while complementing the brick floors
I really like Rural Earth. Great work in your room.

Dash of pepper! People are so afraid of green and red tones together, but done correctly it is magical!
Omg all the color choices are beautiful cant decide
