dude your pvp has gotten wayyy better, you've come such a far way. no auto-locks (well, only minor usage as anyone should), only skill and great movement with anticipation of enemy moves. i'm seriously impressed, keep at it.
Thank you, Robert. :) I been trying to rely less and less with every video on auto-lock and I'm finally starting to get used to not relying on it. I'm much happier without it now, haha. It's nice to have full control of your aim and not have your character rotate automatically cause of q-lock.
LMAO! That's hilarious! But honestly, what really encouraged and inspired me to try to improve my PvP was all the MANY times that I got destroyed by other players, haha. I just really wanted to learn to defend myself.
So cool to see your journey from complete pvp noob to a more or less pro player, if you want to fight with lots of experienced players I would recommend the dogs of the dessert trainings server. Maybe make an episode on it :). Anyway keep it up
Thank you bro. I hope to one day try out that server and fight against all the best PvPrs. I’ll keep training a bit more though before I try it out. :)
I finally have black ice, lol. I'm still loving the game. I even bought a DLC for it, and I don't own the game. I'm playing Conan on gamepass, lol. Great video, like always learning a little something. Have a good day, everyone.
Nice! Those fights looked really cool. Pvp in this game is getting really interesting. I learned a lot of the thing from the other episodes . I'm going to try it out.
Thank you Dave. Will definitely keep practicing, still got a long way to go. I haven’t ran into too many people on the new server unfortunately. I hope it gets a bit more active.
nice work mate, the pvp coming together nicely. Little Tip for Stamina, inside the Volcano, where the skelos guys are worshiping just to the right of the camp near obelisk, u can buy Ice Tea from a dude there "1 Silver Coin per Tea" the tea restores Stamina... so cheap mate and helps me alot… i made like 500 silver coins and bought 500, i really cant be bothered making feasts, but i dont go out with out me tea lol
One of the best tips for PvP! I had no idea about this one. I’m also too lazy to cook up feasts and gruel is not that good, haha. Ima start doing this. Thank you bro.
@@Zelosykes I blame the bat. When i need to climb anywhere really high I just fly up instead. I don't bother with climbing gear for a very long while. And I still don't care, except for that sweet 22 stam. That's so good for a corrupted build
If you take a fragment of power to the mountaieer where you unlocked that jurneu step you can also get the reinforced climbing boots and gloves which is amazing for agility if crafted with the right bench thrall. also @10:34 That is the perfect solo raid build and I use "the whirlwind blades" dual edge agility swords also obtained from fragments of power for thralls that try to attack while raiding. There also great for pvp especially if you apply poison to them.. Can You please ask your neighbor where he learned that backflip he did at the end of the fight @19:25 ?
Ya know something id love to watch? A small series on pve of this game. Some of us are noobs wanting to learn the game, and the truth is in order to get to pvp we need to ge trough pve, so it would be amazing if you could do a series going in depth on what to do to optimize your time and get all the endgame goodies and what we shouldn’t be worrying about and what we should basically like tutorial like series but with your style and narration.
I'd recommend Ceronesthes farming guide. It's not everything you want, but very good content. Though I'd keep in mind the new ways to purchase some of the materials through event vendors.
There's tons of PVE content available by a number of content creators. Look for one that resonates with your style.... BUT before you do consider trying to figure out as much as you can and only watching, reading or searching for information when you get stuck of frustrated. you'll get more out of the game that way. Also try a friendly PVE server, making and playing with friends always enhances the experience. One last thing, if you move around the map every time you start/re-start it will help force you to explore new areas. If you get comfortable and always start the same way, build your base in the same place and so on you'll miss a bunch of content. Happy Gaming 😁
Always nice to see new video popping out. Ive never gotten used to using climbing boots. Not that useful imo, I would of have never believed them to be useful in PvP in any way either.
Thanks for watching~ :) Yeah, I wouldn't think they'd be good for PvP cause the armor value isn't the best, but the stamina points it gives you is pretty appealing... although I went back to my dragonhide boots. Oh and climbing gear is only mostly used for scouting places that require a lot of climbing (like the volcano). You need the boots/gloves to get all the way up to the secret hidey holes there.
Why don’t you use any of the legendary weapons that give bonuses like I think it was a sword that does poison damage? I remember farming the skeleton keys to unlock them?
@@Zelosykes I don't play Conan anymore and wasn't ever a lover of the pvp system myself but you've brought a rust style content to a game I really enjoyed. you're killing it brother. keep it up!
isnt this boot old? or it was gloves? im years out of conan, dont even remember when i bought it lol but i remember to climb a rock like that, finding a guy like that and getting a recipe some years ago, i think it was gloves... but i remember too to spawn or find it in a npc with the mod that lets u take their armor
The boots and the gloves are old… but the new Spiderclimb boots that you get from completing the journey step are brand new. They just got added to the game.
I have a quick question, goes back to day 2 though, when you were doing Kurak's dungeon how were you not losing any of your stuff? When you die in the dungeon does your stuff not get lost with your corpse inside?
The home server thankfully saved the episode! Couldn’t find any action on the new server. And I’m not sure what made him tanky tbh. I don’t know much about bow builds. I just know they’re super tricky to kill cause of agility and double jump. They just jump around everywhere avoiding your attacks. I cut out a lot of footage of me chasing the bow player.
Hope you find a good clan bro… but remember to always be picky about which clan you join cause you don’t wanna end up getting banned for a clan mate doing something dumb, haha.
so i just started playing conan very recently, and it seems like most servers are empty or have bad ping, but im enjoying so far regardless. though i am wondering,is there a practical reason why you shouldnt use lock on as much? or is it just a flex thing.
Q-Lock forces you to look at the opponent, which makes you less mobile, and it's easier for them to dodge since you'll always hit the spot they were at when you attacked. It's particularly bad with 2H weapons and when outnumbered. However, with daggers, there's really no reason not to use Q-Lock every time aside from courtesy, since most people find it a cheap tactic. Also if you're part of the minority of players who uses a shield, Q-Lock makes blocking easier since the shield will be facing them all the time.
I learned to PvP using q lock and relied on it for a very long time. It wasn’t until very recently (maybe 2 months ago) that I stopped using it after many people advised me to stop using it… and it’s a game changer. It’s definitely hard to get used to not using it at first and it requires a lot of practice to improve your free aim and prediction of your opponents movement. Ricardo does a good job explaining the issues with q lock. Let me know if you need further clarification. :)
