Hey man (Crizal here), nice content, as usual. FYI, at the Frost Giant's Temple, farm all the "stone" outside of the temple too. It is a mix of stone and ice (mostly ice) and it'll help level you up quickly too, and you're not gonna have to dodge all the giants.

Cool new series!!! Ive been playing Ark a lot lately. Conan still better imo but I think Ark keeps you involved more since they have so many maps. But Im sure Ill be back on Conan eventually. Glad to see you got a new series going. I enjoy watching.
I'd also suggest getting the mushroom patches in the noob river near gallamans and crimson lotus at the mounds for extra levels. Furthermore the cimmerian feasts that the cimmerians drop is very good food and provids at +50 armor bonus.
Very nice, best power leveling I've seen. I love using the bows and you can get some good ones drop in sinners refuge from the Asura guys, even the reach of the red mother if you're lucky. I'm pretty sure in the chest you got the pickaxe from in Sepermaru there was also a tool upgrade mod, you could apply this to the pickaxe as well to increase the yield and speed up the leveling more. Looking forward to seeing how you handle PVP, I'm not very good at it lol
To those that want to add some more easy levels around the river, one side of the sentinels have a bunch of mushrooms, smash them all and should gain a couple levels early game. Also smack the shrooms around the mounds, and pick the red lotuses, they are also nice quick levelers :)
@Zelosykes Chests have been added to almost every location, so any old guides are largely obsolete now. Only a few world bosses are remotely worth fighting because they still drop a legendary item on death, sadly most of them just drop skeleton keys now. You shouldnt ignore the journey steps entirely now as some of them give you decent alternate armor sets and weapons plus some craftables, also when in the mounds, each of the buildings has an interactable item somewhere inside that gives you a hardened steel tool. I know of a Hatchet, hammer, pickaxe and battle axe off the top of my head.
You can mine crystals to lvl as well. I believe it’s about the same as brimstone. That way you don’t have to wait for the red pawn. I can’t wait to run into you. I’ve always wanted to 1v1. Love the videos.
Yep, crystals are very good too! I have power leveled up to 60 by just farming brimstone (Sinner's Refuge) up to level 20ish and then finishing off the rest of the levels by farming crystal at Scuttler's Shortcut. A bit slower, but works great if you're trying to level without running into people.
Fun fact the t4 asure guy can drop multiple legendary bows including the bow the red mother drops. also the wine cellar dungeon has tons of gold and silver coins in it now from the chests and the named guy at the beginning of wine cellar can drop buff potions too
@@Zelosykes I tested yesterday and you can get isle of siptah legendary bows too, also at the bottom of the dungeon where you learn the silent legion armor under the water the chest hold buff fish, and in the warmaker dungeon you can get grey lotus seeds and grey lotus pretty frequently from the chests in there and they doubled the armor scraps the bosses drop aswell

Really nice vid as always. You can get hardened steel or even star metal tools in the cave where you learn the spells. It’s a guarantee spawn for those tools
since you're starting at sinner's refuge (and struggling to find a weapon early on) you might as well just clear the spider boss. he dies pretty quickly to stone daggers and the respawn rate is decent-you could potentially farm it twice before leaving for seperemu.

one other thing, hitting the crimson lotus while you're at mounds and frost lotus by the bridge is good xp as well, in case you're not doing anything else when passing through there

I started a new character yesterday. It’s my first run since the update. It blew my mind a Jailor drops 3 pieces of Silent Legion heavy. That was Siptah though, not sure about EL.

Bro, this is not bad levelling, but being new in Connan exile, sinners refuge is very hard to fight the npcs. Is there any other way? Can i go pre 20 to loot the chests? Then come here ?
Yeah, you can make it to Sepermeru to loot the chests before getting to level 20. You’ll get some better weapons there that can help you kill the NPCs at Sinner’s Refuge. If you don’t want to go back to Sinner’s Refuge, you can continue on to the Mounds of the Dead. I forgot to show it in the video, but you can find “grey lotus flower” all around there near the obelisk and if you farm those with a pick, you’ll get some nice levels. Be careful there though! Those NPCs are way stronger and will 2-shot you, so always set a bedroll nearby. Good luck, it isn’t easy when you’re new to Conan.
Great video, very explanatory, and I love the hands on tips. Only one small gripe; I think either the gather xp for black ice has been nerfed in vanilla, or you were playing on a boosted server. Youre getting far more xp than I currently am right now, at the same level. I am curious. Did not get as lucky as you, but I did get a hardened steel pick at mounds of the dead. There are black claws on a bench at Desert Dogs place, at the entrance from the crocodile boss side. I do play on a modded server but they are a vanilla item and the mods don't seem to add loot like that, so I assume it's normal. That aside, I really don't like "middle tiers" that you can easily skip even just looking around. Speaking on practically every single survival game. I mean, why bother with iron or steel weapons when you can just go and rather easily get materials and/or recipes for better stuff. Killing a miniboss is trivial and there are some treasure chests left - found 3 total but I remember where is 1, near Tortured King - on a hill/rock/whatever, visible from afar. I hope they polish netcode because combat could use less of numbers and more speed to actually challenge players with combat. It's trivial, even if lengthy - but daggers and bleed are easy to get either way.

I've stopped playing now, but had an idea about powerlevellling. With the new changes if you can find some easy alchemical and insulated wood, a good Strat might be to use the black ice tools to clear the giant cave. You can get the recipe without killing the box and I have used the forge without kill the three giants. But even then, they should be easy to bleed. Silver coins are easy to get, so just buy the spiced food. Do the stargazer ridge run to the cave. I expect the alchem\insulated wood may be in nord\cim chests, most of which can be looted on the run. Interested to heear if anyone could make this work because I'm thinking you could practically do this right out of the desert.
If you attune your bracelet at all the varies obelisk locations, you can teleport directly to the obelisks using a map room. It’s basically a way to fast travel to different locations throughout the map.
Cool Vid!!! Something for you to try out is not to level your Vitality...the cold affects are a % value rather than an amount of hp so even with low hp the amount your lose is the same...i have even corrupted myself so that weak pots heal you up fully and you don't need so many pots...there is 1 caveat...don't get hit by the ice giants ;)
Spears/pikes have been severely nerfed as of the latest update… but I have always loved the spear because it’s basically a sniper weapon. When you’re using free aim, you gotta anticipate your opponents movements and strike at the perfect time. It just feels awesome, haha.
Yeah, lol. The game has never been easier. Even “target lock/q lock” has been improved so now even PvP combat with q-lock is easier. I like the majority of changes… like improved loot. But combat between players shouldn’t be made easy. It should be about skill.
The chests in the mounds of the dead have a fairly high chance of dropping star metal tools and insulated wood, combined with the alchemical base drop from the bearer you can either get the resources for a black ice pick or loot a star metal pick. Win win.
I mentioned it in the video, you need to max out your Expertise attribute and unlock the Beast of Burden perk. This perk allows you to move at all full speed when you’re heavy.
Those chest in Seper meru are very good early because there are level 60 Acheronian pick en hardend steel hatch full durability. Also perfect steel weapons allot. Love your video very much.
Yes! It's one of the options in the General menu. It's something like "Show journey steps" and you just select yes or no. There's a lot of stuff you can hide from the gameplay interface to clear your screen of unnecessary things. Hope this helps!
The chat can be hidden as well. I do need to keep the chat open when I am playing because it helps you stay on top of the server politics. I blur out the chat for the video because the chat can get pretty toxic/dumb at times, so I just blur it so you guys don't have to be subjected to that.
Are you getting hit by the Giants? If you get hit, they’ll cause you to get Frostbite. Another thing, you just need to eat 1 spicy food at a time until the warmth runs out. Gotta keep healing too with aloe potions. Some sections of the frost temple are just super cold.
I see. 1x harvest rate sounds dreadful though, haha. I don’t think anyone wants to farm that much. For me, I just get on a server, level up, gear up, and start raiding and then get my loot from raids. There’s usually only a few active servers for NA and none of them are the 1x. I pick the most active ones for more player interactions (PvP).

yo what up man, how you feeling about the new combat system where you can move while swinging your weapon. personally i dont really like it when im fighting with the pike. guess its gonna take some getting used to.
Hey bro. So far, I haven’t been able to utilize that new combat feature much since I play with mouse and keyboard and no q-lock. It’s a bit hard to use it with the keyboard, lol. I have seen people using it with spear + q lock and it looks really OP though. I think it’s probably much easier to use for console players cause of the controller. What do you play on?
There are a quite a few active servers atm. I was playing really late at night when the server wasn’t active so that I could level up in peace without having to worry about others killing me.
Yes, once I level up and gear myself up, I’m usually out always looking for PvP. This is a new series covering every day that I play on a PvP server. The raids will start on day 3.
Falcata is a steel weapon actually. I have mixed feelings about new loot. On one hand, it's good to actually finally have some goodies, on the other hand as soon as you get Falcata an Hyrkanian bow, or say Steel Ponyards from a lvl 3 Darfari sorcerer, the initial challenge is simply gone.
It is even more absurd in Siptah. You just set up a camp and kill a jailor, bam full set of heavy silent legion armor. Quite literally getting the end-game armor from a 360 hp bozo that spawns every 10 mins or so in a very easy camp.
Like I mentioned in the video, I’m purposely playing late at night when the server is least active so that I can focus on leveling as fast as possible without being interrupted by people trying to gang me. PvP will start on day 3 with an online solo raid. It’s coming, don’t worry~

I miss this game, but undermeshing makes it unplayable.
Last time I checked the chest at at the ymir teacher it hat a black ice pick and black ice daggers.

And finally, going into the volcano and farming obsidian nodes also gives good xp.

Nice, lots of good places to farm brim. Crystals are also a great source of XP as well.

I don’t think I knew I had a food that gave armor. The only food I usually eat is Salted Pork for Strength. Next time though!

Yup! That's something I forgot to do on DAY 1 of this playthrough. You gain a good 3-5 levels at the Mounds on your way to the Frost Temple.

Youre getting far more xp than I currently am right now, at the same level. I am curious. Did not get as lucky as you, but I did get a hardened steel pick at mounds of the dead. There are black claws on a bench at Desert Dogs place, at the entrance from the crocodile boss side. I do play on a modded server but they are a vanilla item and the mods don't seem to add loot like that, so I assume it's normal. That aside, I really don't like "middle tiers" that you can easily skip even just looking around. Speaking on practically every single survival game. I mean, why bother with iron or steel weapons when you can just go and rather easily get materials and/or recipes for better stuff. Killing a miniboss is trivial and there are some treasure chests left - found 3 total but I remember where is 1, near Tortured King - on a hill/rock/whatever, visible from afar. I hope they polish netcode because combat could use less of numbers and more speed to actually challenge players with combat. It's trivial, even if lengthy - but daggers and bleed are easy to get either way.

Yes, that’s my raid build with the Great Axe. Plus Salted Pork and Black Lotus Potion for a combined 30% increase in Str weapon dmg.

I've stopped playing now, but had an idea about powerlevellling. With the new changes if you can find some easy alchemical and insulated wood, a good Strat might be to use the black ice tools to clear the giant cave. You can get the recipe without killing the box and I have used the forge without kill the three giants. But even then, they should be easy to bleed. Silver coins are easy to get, so just buy the spiced food. Do the stargazer ridge run to the cave.
I expect the alchem\insulated wood may be in nord\cim chests, most of which can be looted on the run.
Interested to heear if anyone could make this work because I'm thinking you could practically do this right out of the desert.

New player here, what does attuning your bracelet do?
If you attune your bracelet at all the varies obelisk locations, you can teleport directly to the obelisks using a map room.
It’s basically a way to fast travel to different locations throughout the map.

Cool Vid!!! Something for you to try out is not to level your Vitality...the cold affects are a % value rather than an amount of hp so even with low hp the amount your lose is the same...i have even corrupted myself so that weak pots heal you up fully and you don't need so many pots...there is 1 caveat...don't get hit by the ice giants ;)

Spears/pikes have been severely nerfed as of the latest update… but
I have always loved the spear because it’s basically a sniper weapon. When you’re using free aim, you gotta anticipate your opponents movements and strike at the perfect time. It just feels awesome, haha.

Yeah, lol. The game has never been easier.
Even “target lock/q lock” has been improved so now even PvP combat with q-lock is easier. I like the majority of changes… like improved loot. But combat between players shouldn’t be made easy. It should be about skill.
The chests in the mounds of the dead have a fairly high chance of dropping star metal tools and insulated wood, combined with the alchemical base drop from the bearer you can either get the resources for a black ice pick or loot a star metal pick. Win win.

how are you able to move fast with those weights?
I mentioned it in the video, you need to max out your Expertise attribute and unlock the Beast of Burden perk. This perk allows you to move at all full speed when you’re heavy.

Those chest in Seper meru are very good early because there are level 60 Acheronian pick en hardend steel hatch full durability. Also perfect steel weapons allot. Love your video very much.
Yep, those chests are super helpful for early game. I’m always gonna stop there to loot when I’m leveling.

Can we hide journey steps top right window?
Yes! It's one of the options in the General menu. It's something like "Show journey steps" and you just select yes or no. There's a lot of stuff you can hide from the gameplay interface to clear your screen of unnecessary things. Hope this helps!

The chat can be hidden as well. I do need to keep the chat open when I am playing because it helps you stay on top of the server politics.
I blur out the chat for the video because the chat can get pretty toxic/dumb at times, so I just blur it so you guys don't have to be subjected to that.

I keep dying in the ice cave no matter how much spicy food I have I don’t know what I’m doing wrong lol
Are you getting hit by the Giants? If you get hit, they’ll cause you to get Frostbite.
Another thing, you just need to eat 1 spicy food at a time until the warmth runs out.
Gotta keep healing too with aloe potions. Some sections of the frost temple are just super cold.
One thing you could do is go to any of the Heirs of The North camps farm the Thralls to get some Vanir Armour, it has cold resistance.
Why do you always play 2x or 4x gather servers
I only play on official servers, they’re 4x gather rates.
@@Zelosykes they have 4x rate servers official but they also have 1x rate servers
I see. 1x harvest rate sounds dreadful though, haha. I don’t think anyone wants to farm that much. For me, I just get on a server, level up, gear up, and start raiding and then get my loot from raids.
There’s usually only a few active servers for NA and none of them are the 1x. I pick the most active ones for more player interactions (PvP).

yo what up man, how you feeling about the new combat system where you can move while swinging your weapon. personally i dont really like it when im fighting with the pike. guess its gonna take some getting used to.
Hey bro. So far, I haven’t been able to utilize that new combat feature much since I play with mouse and keyboard and no q-lock. It’s a bit hard to use it with the keyboard, lol.
I have seen people using it with spear + q lock and it looks really OP though.
I think it’s probably much easier to use for console players cause of the controller.

There are a quite a few active servers atm.
I was playing really late at night when the server wasn’t active so that I could level up in peace without having to worry about others killing me.

Yes, once I level up and gear myself up, I’m usually out always looking for PvP.
This is a new series covering every day that I play on a PvP server. The raids will start on day 3.

Falcata is a steel weapon actually. I have mixed feelings about new loot. On one hand, it's good to actually finally have some goodies, on the other hand as soon as you get Falcata an Hyrkanian bow, or say Steel Ponyards from a lvl 3 Darfari sorcerer, the initial challenge is simply gone.
It is even more absurd in Siptah. You just set up a camp and kill a jailor, bam full set of heavy silent legion armor.
Quite literally getting the end-game armor from a 360 hp bozo that spawns every 10 mins or so in a very easy camp.

Like I mentioned in the video, I’m purposely playing late at night when the server is least active so that I can focus on leveling as fast as possible without being interrupted by people trying to gang me.
