This turned out really well with a fudgy chocolatey center! My family loved it. Although Millet flour has a really strong smell, while roasting it, I coughed a lot. In the cake itself, it has a strong taste so I added lots of cinnamon powder, which I think helped. Final product was lovely!!

Tried ragi cake today mam.. It came out well except that I did add 2 more minutes thinking a little more need to be cooked.. So its crust became a little bit harder.. My mistake otherwise it would have been soft like how you showed.. 😔But happy and contended that I learned to bake a healthy version of cake.. My son is fond of chocolate cake but never he can imagine this is made of ragi and most importantly my mom who is having sugar also can eat this cake.. So thankful to you😘

I tried this which turns out really great I tried to make it like a pound cake since this cake is very dense it remained slightly uncooked . Still it's a thumbs up recipe my daughter said it tasted like fudge. I added little instant coffee powder to it took it to next level 👍👌👏.thanks for sharing ❤

There are some brownie recipes where they use only eggs in the batter, no milk. This cake's texture and taste is exactly like those brownies, it is like store bought, doesn't seems that I made it at home. I am new at baking, but this one tasted as if coming straight from a bakery I did a variation though. I used maple syrup instead of coconut sugar. And I only used 1/2 cup of wheat flour. I used 1/2 cup maple syrup, but I think 1 cup of maple syrup would be better. Thank you Nisha ji for sharing this recipe

Hello ma'am.I made raagi cake sticking to every details of your recipe and the cake was baked exactly like yours.Even the furrow on top was same.Thank you so much for a very healthy yummy recipe.Raagi is called Mandua flour in Uttarakhand.The leavening of the cake making it puffed was a surprise because v are using coarse flour.Leavening occurs best with maida(white flour) which has high gluten.Did the curd with its lactobacilli help?Do u get gluten in the market?Can u make bread like v get in market using this flour?

Dear Mam I knw having cracks is good sign. Ut after piercing the cake with toothpick when it came out clean, I knw it means it is done but when cake came to room temp,I overturned it 60 % was totally moist and wet. Thanks Rims1
