    My mum used this line from st Agnes to get to Truro I was 4-6yrs and even at a young I had the time of my life ,like many others who can remember this jewel of a bygone . Thank you for the memories 👍

    Well that brought back memories... Back around 1958/59 I used to stand on the bridge by Goonhavern Halt with my grandfather to watch the steam trains go by.

    I have fond memories of this line. It closed in 1963 but i spent my 1st holiday in perranporth when i was 10 years old. So myself and younger brother played in Perranporth station. During that holiday the trains came to take up the tracks

    Thank you! I live in Camborne and my father and step-mother lived in St Agnes. I don't remember this line in operation, but recognise some sights in this film. However, the junction with the main line at Chacewater - the first short shot in the film - is now completely unrecognisable because the A30 dual carriageway has obliterated the embankments immediately after the junction.
