    To adjust the flame and regulate venturi... get it a bit high approx to a 1" blue flame. If you see yellow or orange around, have the venturi about ¼" opened, from there, adjust accordingly til no yellow or orange is visible. Hope this helps. 🙏 Love your content

    Great review. I'm still on the fence whether I want a Blackstone griddle or the versatility something like this offers. Other skottle cookers have mixed reviews. This seems promising.

      Definately get the flat top. Whether it is Blackstone or some other brand. You'll be able to cook much more variety of dishes with it than the disc. Get the fryer and disc as a secondary system to have some fun with.

    I hope you used refined Olive Oil specifically made for high temp usage and seasoning. Regular extra virgin olive oil is a poor oil to use for seasoning as it contains a lot of fiber which causes carbon build up when seasoning and not really non-stick. You don't want carbon, you want the oil to polymerize. A better oil for seasoning would be grape seed oil or sun flower seed oil as they are high temp oil and contain low to no fiber.

    I really like it, it's like a wok. I like the fact that it comes with a fish/ what ever cooker. It would be great to take to friends house as an extra cooker at a cook out.
    Great job on the presentation, real informative, I might be looking for this in the coming summer.
    As always I can't wait to see "What's Next with Dave".

      The coating looked like paint to me not like any kind of non stick coating so I took it off. Can you imagine getting a blackstone or camp chef griddle with a non stick coating? I guess you could try it first and maybe it would be ok. If you do please let us know how it works. Thanks!!
