I put yall's parts in my first SP01 and cranked about 30,000 rounds through it shooting production in USPSA. .1% from master with it. I bought one for my wife, who decided she is a single stack woman and didn't move to the new gun. So the old stock gun is coming to yall for a red dot cut and slide cuts. The whole gun is getting refinished. I knew coming into your video that I wanted to make it SAO.....but now I have a few things to consider. Still leaning SAO.... Can yall make the safety surface more aggressive?
Been shooting the 1911 for a very long time. Have about as much experience as one could possibly amase on the platform. Haven’t actually ever seen a trigger system on that platform wear even slightly. I’m curious as to how the pivoting action of the CZ can affect this. Now I’m going to be cautious about doing an SAO conversion to my Pre-B. Much to think about. Thank you for the video.

So the CGW Standard Package with an SAO trigger will have the same pull weight, travel and reset distance as the Standard Package without an SAO trigger?
I have a S2 DA/SA. The pre travel on the SA trigger is longer than I’d like . Would you be able to reduce the SA PRE TRAVEL if my pistol were converted to SAO?
Agree, either SAO with MS, or DA/SA with a decocker. My CZ 75 SP01 is DA/SA with a MS, is it possible to modify the safety to make it work both as safety and decocker, like HK USP and Arex Zero?
Nope. Unfortunately it's one or the other, the design can't accommodate both. And if you didn't know, you _can_ convert your DA/SA SP-01 to SAO by removing the disconnector, that's all there is to it. Though you will need to (at minimum) install an adjustable SAO trigger to set the stroke, and ideally a Cajun Gun Works SP-01 standard package trigger kit as well to eliminate trigger creep and reduce pull weight among several other enhancements. You can also remove the firing pin block plunger and delete the associated lifter arm (there are three options; cut the bottom leg off the FPB lifter arm with a grinder, remove the lifter arm and install a wide sear, or swap out the lifter arm for a spacer) to make it like the shadow series like I did with mine, my SAO SP-01 has a .060" thousandths trigger reset distance after removing the FPB system, and combined with the CGW SAO standard trigger kit it shoots like a $3000 race gun, with a 1.8 pound trigger pull. Food for thought😉.

I installed the pro kit but I don’t have the guts to install the SA only kit - yet. I have it, sitting on my bench.

If a P01 Omega is changed over to Manual Safety, can it then be converted to SAO and have a good trigger with barely any take up and barely any reset?

The gun can technically work with the disconnector still installed but we don't recommend it. Eventually it will cause problems.

Would you be able to put a safety on a SP-01 Tactical and make it single action only?
It can't be converted to a safety model. The SAO trigger will fit the gun. We just don't recommend it (or perform that conversion in our shop).
