Loved this video! Always dope hearing you guys talk long-form about gear and everything. The OXI one is my favorite peace of gear that I own. Like @SURCO, I also use the OXI one to sequence my elektron gear as it is soooo much easier to sequence in key and create melodic stuff. Live recording the stochastic mode into my syntakt for basslines or leads or whatever is so much better for how I like to create music. It's also nice to live record a sequence and then use the euclidean mode to make something completely different from what you have recorded in. So much fun.

2:12:24 im one of those djs that uses an allen & heath mixer with no built in effects, and ive been going back and forth about an fx solution for months now. I think ill take another look at the nts3 😜

layering on DN2 is cool, but I d love choke groups too on both DT2 and DN2
Completely agree that Elektron gear + Overbridge + DAW (Live, for me) is the way. I use Live (plus Push 3 controller) as a mixer as well as clip launcher and sampler (big fan of Simpler on Push). The biggest revelation for me was running Syntakt via Overbridge and discovering that the Syntakt chord machine can sound pretty good with plugin insert FX (especially a Dimension D chorus) in ways that are impossible in the box on Syntakt. The lack of Overbridge for Digitone 2 is the only thing holding me back from buying one right now (well... that and a bunch of bugs that need squashing).
Overbridge for Digitone 2 is basically confirmed as the registration for the Beta program is open - what we need is a native Push 3 overbridge support
Is the M8 Tracker way better than the Polyend Tracker Mini? The M8 is so hard to get
different, more compact and probably much cleaner workflow once learned
