This place is practically on our doorstep, and we have seen it on the skyline many times driving to Stirling, but this is the first we've seen inside it, and wow, those views from the top 😮 Well done Kenny, really great video 👍
Hi, thanks for your kind comment! I hadn’t been to the monument since I was about 9-10 years old ( almost 40 years ago!) and it’s only a 25 minute drive from where I am so it seemed like a good time to visit again. Have to agree the views from the top are stunning especially on a clear day. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
Hi thanks for your comment. Hope you enjoyed your time in Scotland. I’m sorry that I’ve missed something, the only things I can think of that is missing is the walk through the woods from the car park to the monument, the wee shop at the base of the tower (both of which I didn’t video) and the actor that tells the story of Wallace which was cancelled due to the weather changing. If I’ve missed something else then apologies. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@kennykirkwood you’re right. The walk alone was interesting but no worries I’m sure you have them imprinted forever in your memories. I have. We also visited Stirling castle. Very impressive but the main course last year was our week on islay surrounding us with lovely people and a lot of Smokey whiskies. And cigars
Glad you enjoyed my country and everything it has to offer. I have an upcoming video on Stirling Castle that I’ll be posting in the next couple of weeks.
@@kennykirkwood Thnks again. 2010 we did the westhighland way and in. ‘16 the speyside way and last year Edinburgh Glasgow Falkirk Sterling and 7 days on islay. Three exciting weeks. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Scotland.

Great to be back again. We went to Scotland again last year. Thnks for sharing. But there’s something missing in this video.
