WILD Multi Agency Arkansas Pursuit - Car Crash - ASP, AHP, CCSO, LCSO, GCSO, AGFC, PPD

- On Friday, April 26, Deputies with the Craighead County Sheriffs Office received a tip that a stolen Jeep Cherokee out of Jonesboro would be heading north on HWY 63 from Lawrence County. Prior to arrival, Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriffs Office located and stopped the vehicle. The vehicle then fled from the stop passing first into Craighead County and then into Green County. The chase went on for multiple miles into Sedgwick and Paragould.
Many Agencies assisted in the pursuit including the following:
Craighead County Sheriff's Office
Lawrence County Sheriffs Office
Green County Sheriffs Office
Arkansas State Police
Arkansas Highway Police
Arkansas Game and Fish Commission
Paragould Police Department
The driver who originally lied and said his name was Butch Stephens, was arrested and Identified as 52-year-old Edward Gene Huff of Clarksville, Tennessee.
He holds warrants out of both Tennessee and Maryland, and faces charges across multiple Arkansas Counties, of which will be listed below:
1. Fleeing Felony
2. Fleeing Misdemeanor
3. Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance
4. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
5. Theft by Receiving Greater than $25,000
6. Obstructing Governmental Operations
7. Fictitious Vehicle License
8. Resisting Arrest
He is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond and is due back in court on June 26th. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Can't criticize for having an accident - they risk their lives every day for us and it is not easy work. A split second mistake during a chase can be disastrous, but still they give it their all. Hope everyone but the felon is ok. Still grateful for the amazing men in their police machines.

I know the Sheriff, he said they were all ok.
Too many agencies & law enforcement vehicles in the same pursuit always increases the chance of more accidents. Glad all of the officers were ok.

My nephew got pulled over a couple of weeks ago. He pulled into someone's yard and a state trooper told him why he was pulled over. Not wearing a seatbelt and a rear light on his truck didn't work. He got a warning.

I’ve been in law enforcement for 18 years and to this day, for the life of me, I cannot understand why officers pass one another. We’re trying to accomplish the same thing why in the hell are you trying to pass a unit?

It is bad enough that a car is racing down the road and no you add a several others...what could go wrong. I lost a Family member to a "police chase" the cop did the hitting. She is dead....and the "speeder" who was running got 6 months and is out on the streets now. My sister is always dead....

Those SUV’s can go in places a sedan cannot. I have a Tahoe at the agency I work for and have had to go off road and through creeks many times where you couldn’t get a Charger.
Imagine having to deal with the insurance agency on this one since both vehicles are on the same policy. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The insurance company will want to give the run-around.
