Access to Information Act in Malawi

Malawi Government has finally gazetted the Access to Information Act to start being operationalised by 30 September 2020. This is a milestone in the history of Malawi's democracy as previous regimes avoided operationalising this law as it hinges on transparency and accountability. The law will help to address corruption in the public service.
