I've played several pieces by de Meij (including "Wind in the Willows" under his baton). All are marvelous, but I'm not sure I want to play this one, since I have to sit directly in front of the timpani!

Beautiful piece and wonderful performance! One of my favourite finales in classical music literature.
That finale was amazing! Wish that one person at the end would have waited just another second or two to let it ring before clapping though..
