i would just add 1 thing... if you talk to vatras and then lares... you can ask lares if he can help you out... and then choose gold option (other 2 suck anyway) and then lares will tell you that lemar still owes him a favor, so just go to him and borrow money from him and he will sort things out so you dont owe him anymore... you still got to talk to lemar 24 ingame hours AFTER taking money, with 1200+gold on you, and pick option that you are returning the gold and then he wont take the gold and will say: dont worry about it, didnt know that bastard lares was your friend. (also this lares choice is not the same with the other one, where he tells you to go to martin to get another quest if you want to join militia)... which maybe is another point that you should do in chapter 1 for extra exp... some other players do pick option to join mages, so you dont have to pay 1k gold and sheep to join mages... but if you plan to join literally anyone else, its best to pick militia, even if you wont join militia... just for getting another quest and exp.

Yes actually. You can find everything on this website. Make sure you translate it into English if you don't speak Polish: sefaris.eu/union/plugins zGamepad is compatible, just not with every controller. I have tried with a generic PS3 controller, that isn't original and it doesn't work. I also tried with the JoyPads from Nintendo switch (the individual ones), but it can only use 1 at a time. If you have the single controller from switch or xbox it should inititially work, if you prefer playing like that. :)

I'm sure it's better than controller, but when i was playing NOTR i couldn't bear the difficulty and i just stopped thinking i don't wanna play a game that i don't find fun. Then i found that mod and i thought man this is gonna be scuffed. But too my suprise it was quite good (it sill needed some tweaking) and all of the scuffnes was just a part of Gothic. I'm so much better in combat with a controller it's day & night, i could go againts wargs with ease in chapter 1 (I shouldn't have but i like banging my head againts a wall haha). Learn how to gut them from either Wolf or The hunter near the Black Troll. Then just kill some minecrawlers. There's 3 caves you can find them in. 1. In the Cave complex near the Black troll where the Fire mages have their Test of Fire (left fork of the caves) 2. Opening the Cave stone using a pillar in the small pyramids in the excavations 3. Dexter's camp Mines. You just have to open the door that's preventing them to leave.

Nice Tutorial! i saw a walkthrough video about DarkKnight, he got 450/47 Strength (he just only need 47 LP for STR) @@! , can you tell me the way to do that? i think read stone table, drink strenght potion, pay money for Kama or kill many boss can't get up to 450str like that ~~!
@@sliverz_fx No, it not depending on LP. The STR and DEX Stats of Gothic so special. If u use 5 LP to learn STR or DEX, it will show (455/51). If u drink STR or DEX potions (+2 points) , it will show (452/47). So i mean he drink many potions or something else like that to get STR up to 450 (he not use 10LP 20 LP ,,, to learn STR or DEX from NPC when level up)

But the new claw of beliar not do magic damage (lighting damage) like edition version. I'm really disappointed by that, it's the soul of gothic yet they removed it T_T (it like normal weapon with 400 slash damage, no str require, no special options..., can't update anymore...)
I finished returning 2.0 in 2016-2017 back then on nightmare and now I decided to play again with this new balance version... also on nightmare. I am lvl 28 now and a lot of things changed or I don't even remember. Nightnare difficulty is great for me, love the challenge . I have one question though : what exactly does raffa needs to get hus aproval for falk ? I am stil in ch1... does falk challenge quest happen in ch2 ?
@@Dark_Angel555 Most hunter quests trigger after 2nd chapter. Barem will ask you to kill a boar or something. You shouldn't try to rush them anyway cause many are tough. You'll need to kill a black troll for Grimbald's approval and so on, so it's a long chain. Just come back to the camp every so often and check for new quests, there are plenty of them.

Yes you can get them that way. Helps a lot if you're dexterity is low but your rhetoric is already pretty high

The assassins guild also gives you best armor in chapter 1 I believe 🤔

If you play on easy mode, getting 20 learning points per level, plus getting to lvl 33 in Chapter 1 is possible, then yes he can get 450 str :)

It's weird how the creator himself, in the in-game help menu, urges people to join a faction as quickly as possible without farming initiation quests.
Yeah if you're playing on nightmare that works so you gain benefits. but on nornal get as much easy exp as you can :)

Also barem does not give his consent after you give him the minecrawler armor. What does he want ?
@@Dark_Angel555 For Raffa's vote, you need to kill a special beast. You get that quest either in 2nd or 4th chapter, depending on the game's build.
