EJ207 is a bullet proof subaru engine, good for 400whp or so, ej257 is not. 4g63 is easy to work on/makes good power, 4b11 isn't as good as the 4g63. easier to work on subarus drive line but not engine and harder to work on evos driveline but easy to work on the engine. the evo 8/9 are the best for power builds
evo 9 engine running a evo 7 5 speed if you have stock together then build both and all g the 5 speed shits on the 6 for evo's where with sti's its a awesome 6 speed that with minimal help can hold 500kw or 670hp no issues but a wrx 5 speed will break with minimal power through it

Its not my tune or the startup would be much better then the video shows. Its on someone else's tune right now. I'll be retuning it at a later date and making more power. For now its on a lower boost tune. The car has our Billet 2.3L short block in it though :)
I've had my Evo for 6 years and the way it puts the power to the wheels and way it treats the driver is unlike any other car. It's a beast. Never broken on me and Im still running 30lbs boost

I agree. I bought an '03 Evo 8 to rebuild. I can't think of a better car than this chassis. It needs some strategic upgrades but, if done right, it can be very reliable, too. The problem now is OEM parts being discontinued. 😢 A true classic.

Very nice Evo. It looks super well sorted. I've driven an E85 tuned Evo that was somewhat underwhelming, so it's great to see a well done one just rocket. This is one of the few tuner cars you've had on the show that really interested me. This might be the first wheelwell page I really want to look through.
Honestly, this entire One Take was palpable. I drove an MR stock and was floored. I have NEVER seen Matt F this manically pleased. He's trying to be critical and nice at the same time but clearly needed this in some way...
