I learned so much watching this video/tutorial. I started working on a coloring book and found I needed to learn a few things about some of the picture adjustments. This was absolutely fantastic and worth having the Pro subscription for all the added access to photos, designs, patterns, etcetera.
For those, who do Print on Demand.....do not use Canva, it is not allowed. Someone, finally, clarified this. Use Kittl, or find your own free graphics online. Canva has made their terms confusing, for a reason, so don't do it. They have, also, intentionally given an affiliate link to many TH-cam channel creators, who they know are Print on Demand channels, misleading thousands of people. Don't use them for Print on Demand. There are tons of free programs, out there, to help on your journey to POD. Also, they don't train their staff, so don't listen to their employees, if they say it is okay. It isn't.
Woohoo! We're really glad to know that you found this video helpful, Darla. Thanks very much. 💝 Could you share with us your favorite part of this video? We'd love to hear your thoughts! 😃 ^gv

Is there an updated video for coloring pages since several of these filters are no longer available like "style transfer". This video is 2 years old and Canva has changed things.

All of the mandalas I come across are only in black and the white cannot be filled, so you can see the designs of all the other mandalas behind each one I add. How do you get them to layer without the rest of them showing through?
I've gotten a few different answers, so I just want to be clear... Would I be able to create and sell a coloring book using both the free and pro elements? For example: selling on kdf? So if I use a mandala and change the color, and overlap it.. or use different elements to create a page. Would that be ok to do, or should I just stick to the free elements.
I just submitted a book to kpd using canva templates. They blocked it for copyright and i even modified the templates so they weren't exactly the same, which people suggested to do to avoid that exact issue. It didn't work for me. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Wonderful information! Thanks for sharing! I had a heck of a time finding the "Style Transfer" section you used for the ice cream cone! Finally found it, but for me, it's called "Paint Effects".
Hi there! How do I overlay the graphics from elements meant for colouring sheets? Since they are just outlines without colour, the other element that I'm trying to overlay still peaks through the other element even after using the send backward or send forward function. And since it's non coloured, I tried to go in with the pen to try and paint the inside then overlay which can be very inconvenient if I wanted to move the element
▶︎ Hi there @Ivy, for the *non-coloured elements* , click on one at a time and then select the Colour icon (at the top of the page) to "fill it / color it white", this will stop those elements from being see-through. I hope this helps :-)
Hi@@despina5429 - if you click this link 08:03 (or go to 8 minutes 3 seconds into this video), you will be able to watch HOW TO EDIT THE COLORS OF THE ELEMENTS :-) I hope this helps

My wife and I were wondering how you can cover up the background with line art, since most of the line art shows as see through. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ; )
This is helpful. Just a question though, if I create like this in Canva, can I sell it on using the pictures from your site? I just wanted to check. Thanks :)
Thanks for the great video! Just to confirm, the mandala book created around minute 2 would be okay to sell commercially as a PDF online? Since the graphics are flattened and can not be extracted. Correct? I saw the responses below about commercial use, just wanted to confirm selling it as a PDF once it's heavily modified and edited is okay.
Hi, Iris! You could only sell a design as PDF, PNG, SVG, and / or MP4 if it only has Free content. However, if the design has Pro content, then you could only sell it as an editable template link. Hope this clarifies! 😊 ^gv
Can I use the graphics and backgrounds from Canva to make a coloring book to sell on KDP (kindle direct publishing)? I'm new to all this so the legal ins and outs are new to me! thanks!
Hello there, Marcellina! You could use all of the Pro and Free templates, media, and elements that we have in our library both for commercial and non-commercial purposes, just as long as you add your own personal tweaks on the design through our platform first, and not through any third-party sites. You're not permitted to download and / or use anything from our library on a standalone basis. Modifications could be as simple as playing around with different colors, putting on various filters / effects, inserting more elements, and / or adding texts. That way, you're able to add your own value to the design, and it's sure that your finished product wouldn't look like any of the existing ones that we have in our library. Feel free to check out this link to know more: www.canva.com/licensing-explained/. Hope this clarifies! 😊 ^gv

Hello there! Thank you so much for the #CanvaLove. 💕 To answer your question, you could use all of the Pro and Free templates, media, and elements that we have in our library both for commercial and non-commercial purposes, just as long as you add your own personal tweaks on the design through our platform first, and not through any third-party sites. You're not permitted to download and / or use anything from our library that's unaltered, meaning you're not allowed to use them on a standalone basis. Modifications could be as simple as playing around with different colors, putting on various filters / effects, inserting more texts, and / or adding actual alterations such as resizing, rotating, cropping, and the like. But if you're planning to sell actual design templates, then you could only sell them as a downloadable format (PDF / PNG / SVG / MP4) if it only has Free content. Otherwise, if the design template has Pro content, then you could only sell them as an editable design link. Feel free to take a look at this link to know more: www.canva.com/licensing-explained/.
