I've got a student version and I don't see the "For Export (*.ani;*.txt)" option, you're showing at 04:50..
Is there some additional option, that needs to be enabled? Or is it my Student version missing some stuff?

Hi, sorry for the very late reply. It should be there by default. Probably the student version limitation is the cause. In the new version there is no specific licence anymore for 3ds max export, but the export option is still there for me.

Hi, sorry for being so so late. In old versions this came preinstalled. C:\Program Files\PTV Vision\PTV Vissim 10\API\3dsMaxExport\Script
In the new versions it seems it is not there anymore.

It should be but probably only if you install an old Vissim version.

Hey great video. but do you know how to import the Traffic light data into max? so i dont manualy have to set the red and green light. Cheers

Hi, I dont think you can do that. When you import to 3dsmax, there is a window and I think only the indicator lights can be imported. You can also investigate the recorded animation file and process that by yourself somehow

I am not sure. I THINK you can import to visum, and from there you can import to vissim. But the network you import will never be ready to use, since the importing algorithm does not do a great job usually.
