Dude, I actually finished my monograph work and I graduated college. Thanks for your content that has been more than some background noise while studying, but rathera source of inspiration. Love, chele.
He used footage from the animated films ‘Your Name’ and ‘5cm per Second’, both made by the director Mokoto Shinkai. His other films (in order of release) are: Voices of a distant star The place promised in our early days 5cm per second Garden of words Your name Every one is a masterpiece imho
Feels like this is part of a much bigger set, as if we got to peek inside your head. I enjoyed the musical and visual landscape a lot, but I can't help but feel that you didn't jam to sound as catchy as usual but rather to show us what some of your more intimidate feelings might sound like. Love your catchy stuff, but this is great on a completely different level. I'd love to hear some more soundtrack/ambient style music from you :) Also fluffy squish
Excuse me, but I prefer fluffy and precious, NOT squishy, thank you very much. Also I really need to just bite the bullet, starve myself for a few weeks, and purchase these or the standalone keyboard for myself. The dynamic response blows me away.
Just a heads up: they are not natively mappable in some DAWs such as Ableton Live due to ROLI's lack of effort. They are nice if you use the Equator VST, which was an extra $180 for awhile but is apparently now bundled with the keyboards.
Your stuff during the first Annihilation part really reminded me of Kelly Bailey's work on both the Portal and Half-Life series. Keep up the great work!
Very nice. After the intro there the second track (?) had a very Disasterpeace feeling to it, which makes me wonder how much of his stuff can be performed live. Much appreciated.
A lot of this reminds me of the better stuff on Dream Catalogue, it's a bit different of course. But man your soundscapes here are spine tingling the whole way through. And I think it went really well with those city shots that were in the vid (and the last minute or so of course), fantastic atmosphere.
I've tried to write a huge review about how i love your videos but for some reason I can type only RED MEANS RECORDING RED MEANS RECORDING RED MEANS RECORDING RED MEANS RECORDING RED MEANS RECORDING RED MEANS RECORDING
Jeremy - so, I think this will be the final time I post about this saga in your comments. I've had the Deluge for a while thanks to your recommendation, and absolutely love it. However, after more than two months, my OP-1 FINALLY SHOWED UP(!!!) a week ago. At first I found it very frustrating. Over a dozen RMR videos and I was still unprepared for the... uniqueness of the OP-1 workflow. But, I'll be darned if it hasn't grown on me after a few days, and for now it's been going with me everywhere. I posted my first track made with it here: th-cam.com/video/ZUoHaPS_tqk/w-d-xo.html So, as an extremely delayed reply to the comment and advice you gave a couple months ago when I asked "OP-1 or Deluge"... You had said that, at the time, you were more excited by the Deluge. Now that I have and have used them both, I agree. If I had to use (or recommend) only one, the Deluge is the more capable, easy to use device (my opinion). The OP-1 wins for size, battery, and for being the more "playful" of the two. Coming from DAWs and the Circuit though, the Deluge just made sense to me instantly and was very easy to get to grips with. They are both wonderful devices though and I have no regrets buying both. Thank you again for your advice and all the work you put into your music and videos to share with the rest of us!
Hi Red, I know this is an old video, but I was wondering if you could share your thoughts on the size of the keys and how accurate/inaccurate they felt on the BLOCK? Do you still use this gear today? Really trying to decide if I should wait for Rise 49 to restock or go for the double BLOCKS. I'm looking at these gear for what it can do specifically with wind and string emulation, but I can't tell if I would like the slightly smaller build of the BLOCKS. Cheers, Rama
Amazing! I bought one of these after seeing your last video... Where do you get that amazing wildlife footage from? I'd like to squish to some of that...
This is great, how usable do you think the seaboard and equator is to people who are not primarily synth players or who have an in depth knowledge about synthesis? Just wanna make some psychedelic textures
Red Means Recording is my favorite anime.
redo minsu rikorudin
lol wtf
Music like this doesn't feel like music. It feels like emotion. You can just sit and feel. I appreciate this channel beyond words
You pick your imagery very well! Love it 👏👏
scary squish, sporty squish, baby squish, ginger squish
MC Gingersquish
Why is it that every time you touch some keys it instantly screams "Soundtrack“ into my ears? Also nice scene selection and range of movies :D
It's been sort of in the back of my head always to do sound tracks. I think for the next round of TH-cam music library stuff I'll make thatbthe focus.
Red Means Recording - That's a great idea! 🖒
I swear this video is nothing but therapeutic
oh my god the your name visuals got me feeling real emotions out here
Dude, I actually finished my monograph work and I graduated college. Thanks for your content that has been more than some background noise while studying, but rathera source of inspiration. Love, chele.
Just to let you guys know the anime in the background is called "your name" it's a beautiful anime movie and would recommend watching it.
Goes perfectly with “your name” sheesh son!
One of the most relaxing videos I've ever seen. 10 minutes of goosebumps. Amazing!
I want 70 million years of these sounds. Well done pal...

arguably Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow did a FANTASTIC job on the soundtrack. god, it gets under my skin.
I was falling asleep at my work. But this just woke me up like 10 cups of pure caffeine. Thank you Mr. Blake!
oh sick, footage from two of my favorite movies from the last year or so

You just got +10 style points, dear jeremy! that issome of my favourite anime..
Ninsa I wish I knew what anime it was
Tell me the names..? I'd very much like to know those anime
Bartosz Olszewski it's "Your name" or Kimi no na wa
He used footage from the animated films ‘Your Name’ and ‘5cm per Second’, both made by the director Mokoto Shinkai. His other films (in order of release) are:
Voices of a distant star
The place promised in our early days
5cm per second
Garden of words
Your name
Every one is a masterpiece imho
alabaster thank you
I love the third track. The footage from annihilation fit it’s ominous nature so well.
Kimi no na wa is such a beautiful show, great choice for that first part!
