Ive watched this sober. Ive watched it on mushrooms. When on mushrooms I noticed a lot of what we know today as "shape shifting." Just what some know as the embodiment of deceit and camoflouge.
And boom, a moment of synchronicity
You notice how it catches the crowd, the translator, and Philip at the perfect instances.

One of my silly fears is that Ive lived this life many times before. What I do know for sure is I have lived on alternative worlds similar yet different. I feel far from home.

@@cline289473 I have had numerous experiences over the years. The most elaborate one happened while at a movie theater with my family. We were watching Incredibles 2. It was a new movie and we had never watched it before. Slightly past half way through i went "somewhere else" although completely awake. I was now in a room that was dark and sitting in a row of other people. I felt like the "me" that was in the theater was a character that this "real me" was controlling or maybe only observing. I removed some sort of VR headgear and was thinking "man that session lasted a while". Then I was back in the theater. All of the sudden though, I knew everything that would happen for the rest of the movie regardless of never seeing it before. This is only one of many occurrences for me but usually it involves "episodes" in which memories (sometimes crazy things) flood into my mind as absolute realities. I can only describe the feeling as the way Ashton Kutcher would be flooded with new memories when he changes something in the movie "The Butterfly Effect ".

@@kenveness2499 it is interesting that you mention the headset. My father passed away in 1992. My niece was 6 years old at the time. She told my sister and my mother that she had a dream where my father appeared to her. My niece said he was wearing some type of headset or goggles and told her that was how he was able to see her. When you mentioned the real you viewing the world through a headset, it made me think of this incident.

Thank you so much for posting this video! I greatly appreciate it. I see where PKD starts to ad lib, at about 32 minutes in, he asserts that we are living in a simulated--computer-programmed--reality. I prefer the parts of his talk where describes things that clearly seem based on his personal experiences, such as noticing light switches and vents having moved, yet supposedly always having been in their (new-to-him) locations. I've also encountered such shifts, as I've written about and researched for over 20 years. I have a Masters Degree in Information Systems (an IT MBA), yet I resist the egoic temptation to reduce God to the role of mere programmer. I realize that despite Nature occasionally looking to mankind like a Machine, or now like a Matrix or Simulation--these are just constructs that our human minds can grasp. Surely the true reality is much more than any of these.

Cynthia Sue Larson have you tried any Virtual Reality video games?! I swear that my family literally thinks this statement is blasphemous, but I’m entitled to attempt to directly convey my somewhat shocking observation. When you put on a VR headset and you see how the World around you that is the environment within which you’ve existed until that moment, when you see that disappear by slipping on these goggles and you see what becomes of that World where you invest your feelings and thoughts. And in that moment you’ll think that God has indeed made Himself out to be so so much greater than He ever wanted you to know, and you awaken to a much more Honest God, who is easing your senses from this World, so that your expounded and exalted God becomes so much more like a mere reflection of your self than ever before, and then you just might breathe with a slight shiver or awkward sigh. Because you have witnessed a Blasphemous exaltation that God is then freeing you from and forgiving you for in the same moment. It’s that moment when You’ll think to yourself (privately if your loved ones are believers) “It wouldn’t be so hard to create a whole real World with everything in it”.

I just saw some snippets of this speech in the film "A Glitch In The Matrix" last night which just came out on streaming platforms. When they indicated on the screen that it was filmed in September, 1977... I paused it and was like, HOLY SHIT, that's the month I was born!!! Upon further inspection in google, "Dick's famous "Metz speech", the address he gave at the Deuxieme Festival International de la Science-Fiction at Metz, France, on September 24th, 1977." Depending on what time of day this was filmed, and accounting for time zones, less than 24 hours after this speech, I was born. That blew my mind.

This sounds like you're experiencing déjà vu.
There's a theoretical explanation of déjà vu that basically posits that your brain is subconsciously processing an event or stimulus before you consciously experience the event or stimulus.
This makes it feel like you're "remembering" the event or stimulus (or some characteristics of it) before you consciously process it.
Next time it happens to you, try to remember what is going to "happen next" based on your dream or memory of it in the past. Trying to do this will make the whole experience fall apart. If you're truly remembering a dream or prediction about the future then you should be able to guess what comes next.

oh heck wait, he figured it out actually... his answer was correct. In certain altered drug states it can be more apparent; that there are "alternate dimensions" which the mind can connect to through mental conception but only if you tune yourself to receive & interpret them well enough to be articulately understood. This is what he is alluding to here, 21:44 there is a "base" dimension, which overrides the "partially tangent" ones, which is the limitation of our current human mind's ability to be sensitive to the various others , most commonly. But you can learn sensitivity. Then it's over! Good luck, my fellow mandelbrots!

I had two heart attacks after the marines (I’m 34 now) when I got out in 2016 at age 27. Then cancer, then strokes; point of all this is, I had a moment of clarity that I cannot express beyond how completely relatable the specifically worded descriptions are. As we all know, the world is all frequency. After the marines I began practicing meditation. Being able to tune your brain wave to the tone of the world IS a thing. Being able to create your own reality IS… a thing.. multiple time lines Are a thing. When I was in boot camp, my ear pro fell out on the 100m walking on targets. Looked at the DI and for basic clarity said “No”, you know that sound you get in your ear when a weapon system goes off at close range? Well that has stayed with me.. and i realized, that that sound is always 1 solid note, continuously, and when I feel a difference in the frequency of the room, the note changes-while simultaneously my heart rate does as well. Sorry if this is unclear. Some may understand. Some might even feel that writing this on the internet is dangerous, and only fools would think it isn’t. But if the police say nobody shot him, I believe nobody shot him. And if nobody shot him, that’s the same nobody that that shot Tupac, and if nobody shot him that’s the same nobody that shot MLK too… there’s a lot of nobody’s out there and nobody minds if nobody comes up missin’ right? That don’t bother nobody now does it? Certainly don’t bother me.

That place must exist because we create the space for it by thinking it. And we've all been there before. It's a mind scape. It's no different from any other space we create with our thought forms or feelings. Thoughts and e-motion are not static and they must take up space somewhere.
Alternate timelines could be the reason for the mandela effect(i think it's really something else but ..another time) I feel as though all of humanity is being held in "suspended animation" as they are trying to stop time and keep the holding pattern because they are anxious to be immortal-that would be a shortcut to do that.
THe arrogance humankind has in believing the official narrative about the history of people. PKD is absolutely correct, we've experienced this moment in history before , again and again, each time "civilization" reaches such an apex that can't go any higher and so starts to erode into cataclysm of some type or another. WE live multiple lives simultaneously as well.

    • @_fexo_

      This is a great insight.
One question - why would humanity feel anxious about immortality? Isn't immortality the ultimate evolutionary and spiritual achievement of humanity?
Evolution might be thought of as materialistic, but spiritually it allows us to propagate and share common experiences and bring new life into this world/dimension/mindscape.
Why do you think we would be anxious about that? Just curious about your thoughts.
Second question - why would we not be aware of all of this interconnectedness? That we're perpetually living, experiencing things, and then dying in cyclical patterns? Wouldn't knowledge of these patterns just help us? Why would they be erased?

This idea is very similar to those sometimes expressed by Stephen King throughout The Gunslinger series. Myself, as an unpublished writer, have reached most of these same conclusions independently. Many of the people we call “creators” know rather that they are discovering rather than purely creating. A sculptor will often say that he is finding the shape within the stone rather than forming the stone to the image within his mind. I am suspicious that nearly every creative personality will hear echoes of her own musings within PKD’s speech. Young creatives may disagree with me. I submit to those that as you gain wisdom and experience you will slowly start to lend credence to these ideas.

The thing that makes it crazy is that in order to have a stable reality switch or update you have to have control over thoughts and memories, otherwise glitches like dejavu could happen, so there is a system that fix and manipulate minds at the same time.
Imagine 7 billion player experiencing that shift, who is staying in that reality and who is jumping to new ones?
How could a logical system handle that, the only possible way to manage this is to create a single player type journey, that way you could simulate all the other characters according to the new reality events, at least most of them should be the systemic controllers, otherwise this system can't be stable, and it's meaningless for many players to jump to realities that they didn't care for, so there should be a personal timeline which you experience being that character.
But the question is if it's like that how could many of us are telling the same stories? remembering other realities and ... why a closed system would allow that? so I think this is too complicated for our human mind to understand how it works.

    • @OceanicMemory
      @OceanicMemory 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@m_christine1070 I think the same, but we can't really say it's artificial, it is the source of intelligence as we know it, a universal mind that generates meaningful data out of randomness bulk data, and the reason to create these realities is that perfection is the dead-end for any intelligent agent, the system have to create scenarios that there is limitation, false or corrupt lossy data, then you have a puzzle to solve, a game with rules, something to advance, having goals and all that we see in our reality.
This way you could have a never ending freak show to entertain yourself, otherwise there is nothing to do forever, and without stories, there is no real meaningful experience, you have to have something limited to make sense of it, eternal silence is our true nature, but with sound waves and patterns we could have music, enjoying what we could be, it's the only solution when you reach singularity.
Without mind there is no duality, separation, judgment, thought and action and relation and all that, it's a logical system so you could make sense of things, cause and effect, but that machine could be beyond these set rules, it could be magical create something out of nothing, like game engines manipulate data to create scenes in simulation, they don't need a real material out of that software space, it's all just in the memory generated by mathematic structures.

@@m_christine1070 I know about GPT3, that is a function or trick in that AI, to make it interact more like a human.
I don't think we could create conscious machines in this level of reality, unless we find a way to transfer consciousness to these machines, like how beyond our our biological machines we call body and mind there is an experiencer, something is connecting it to that eternal experiencer, that function which lets these two separated realities join, like the way we use controller, monitor and speaker to communicate without our virtual character in video games, there is a way out of matrix, if you interrupt all data inputs you could hear a sound, many gurus say follow that sound to get out, it needs long and extreme meditation cycles till you get used to that state of mind, but once you go to that path you see all layers beyond our current simulation, all other bodies, realities and frequencies, you have to go even beyond mind, but in that state you are everything and nothing, we could call it non-dual state, that is the source of intelligence, the experiencer of dream, in each layers we could have dream makers, God like characters and systemic controllers, we could make the same in our limited physical if we knew how it works, the one who creates the dream world is the artist, the creator, and the only difference between us is the memory, if we knew it all we could do the same, it's like a super computer that have crappy old softwares and a super computer that have access to most modern tools and softwares. our limitation is in software level, not hardware level, as the unconscious mind could trace it's way to universal mind to have access to all knowledge, that is how we could dream, and how we could get out of body and astral project, it's beyond physical rules, the only thing that make us not to go out too far is our identification with human mind and body, but that is a memory problem, if we remember where we came from we could get beyond these layers, it's crazy how you could forget about your true self and lose yourself in your own game just for the realness experience :)
But who cares if there is no shortage of time and nothing could really harm you, it could be a great dream or a nightmare, but when you wake up you see it was just a dream.

I was 2 when this interview happened. I wish I could have known him. I've had some strange experiences myself at different periods in life where I've been open to them.. and even when I wasn't. Usually I exhaust myself thinking about them and then just get on with the day to day living but then I become interested again and things start up again... usually just a lot (more) of synchronicity events. Now that I'm getting interested again and older I wonder what will happen this time.. Last time, years ago, I had a culminating event where I dreamed I was trying to land a small plane that was having difficulty on an interstate in my town.. a week later it happened to someone and the plane was identical to the one in the dream and it was at the same spot on the highway. I'm not a pilot and this is completely unrelated to my life. There was a bunch of stuff before that that I wrote down because it was the second stint during which such things were happening. I got freaked out and exhausted after the plane thing and destroyed my records and tried to become more religious. 5 years before that I had a terrible terrible dream about that thankfully hasn't come true and I hope it never does. I dunno why I'm putting this here.. not really the kind of things I normally do. I've only told my wife about this stuff. Needless to say there is something else going on behind our perceived reality.
Edit- This evening sat down at my bar and talked to two ATCs I had never seen for an hour. Just coincidence I'm sure. ;-)

Y'all don't know what happens do you? Your memories are erased. I've known this all the time. My memories are constantly being taken from me, as I am writing this. When they reset everything, they choose the time, the day, the year etc to begin again. I am the problem they face. I notice everything they change. So they stop changing many things. They test me to see what I can remember even though I should not. They want to know how I remember. They are in our thoughts. Do you really think that all the stuff that goes through your head is all your own thoughts? No. It sounds like you, but It's not and I figured it out. You call it dejavu, I call it remembering things they keep making me forget.

My theory about Phillip k Dick is that he exercised his mind a lot. It probably became his obsession. I say this because when I was a Christian I became obsessed with watching people talking about heaven or hell experiences. I thought about it a lot. I ended up visiting an angelic realm and saw visions of dragons. I thought that I was going insane. Now I know that it has to do with the law of attraction. You attract what you believe in. Everything is Mental (Kybalion) and a mental image is always changing forms through our interpretations or perceptions of things. It doesn't mean that is not true though.

PKD is a legend akin to Terence Mckenna with NOVEL ideas about society and the constructs therein. I'm p o s i t i v e psychedelic use played a HUGE role. If more of our intelligent movers and shapers of reality took psychedelics I think we'd be in a more empathetic state and not this dystopic nightmare world ruled by psychopaths.

Unfortunately states of peace can never be eternal. Eh and flow to maintain balance. Even if everyone were to use psychedelics it would then be followed by madness then forgetfulness to the end of time.

Unfortunately you woul be wrong Mr. Dick because we already remember a better earth circa 2000 and unfortunately we are in the worse one and I can't help but feel guilty as some sort of variable that has allowed the worse one to exist as my memory is constant and the better reality is a bygone era never to return. If we are in a simulation I or maybe even someone else is the glitch that prevents the reprogram, if it's me I am sorry but it's time for the crash...
